We stayed for 2 nights in August and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We stayed in the double room that is very big with a king size bed. There is also a huge fireplace that has 1887 engraved which was the year in which the house was built.
Caroline was lovely and even chilled a bottle of wine for us that we had left in the room. We will definately go back.
Make sure that you visit the teashop across the way that is also home to a small petting zoo. He has donkeys, shetland ponies, chickens, turkeys and even 2 meerkats - Smokey and the Bandit!! The owner is so friendly too and very happy to tell you all about the animals that live there.
The Cook and Baker pub is great for food.
