Ideal for a mid morning coffee. Home made scones are delicious. Friendly staff; not the easiest of places to find, but worth the effort.

“Pricey”

I find the food quite pricy for the quality but nevertheless it's a decent place to eat. It's quite small and often find it hard to find a seat. The menu is quite diverse.

“Absolute Gem”

Excellent food (all day breakfast is a whopper!) and the melting hot chocolate is delicious a real treat on a chilly day. Menu is nicely varied with some good old fashioned favourites available, also a comprehensive specials board. You won't be disappointed.

“Homely”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2014

Visited this cafe for the first time since it's refurbishment. What an improvement! I'm not saying that it was ever under par before, but the surroundings have been brought very much more up to date and cheerful. The food to be had is as delicious as ever and the staff helpful and welcoming. The cheese scones are to die for, the best anywhere. A really worthwhile little place to spend with friends.
