Just off the A68 this B&B is comfortable with lovely beds , a quiet stay , a nice sitting room , Wifi , and everything one could ask for in a B&B. Breakfast was excellent , and the views are stunning. There are no negatives ; there was even soap in the en suite (none of this new fangled goo stuff you tend to find).

I stayed here with two friends in the Rede room for a mid-week wedding at Woodhill Hall. Jane was very flexible on when we arrived (we got stuck in traffic and ended up arriving after the wedding). The room was large, clean and pretty, with beautiful views. There were two single beds and a double, so perfect for three friends sharing. The breakfast was very satisfying too after a good night's sleep! Thank you for being so welcoming Jane!

Stayed for two nights with my wife, attending an event at Keilder Observatory. Two of the most pleasant and helpful ladies you could wish to meet. Probably the nicest breakfast my wife and I have had. A huge choice of everything you wish for, superb quality and cooked to perfection.Would not hesitate return if travelling that way again.

Stayed here in March whilst attending a wedding in the area. Dunns House is a lovely remote farmhouse surrounded by amazing views of the Northumberland countryside.

We stayed in Reivers room which had a huge super king size bed and en suite. The breakfast here is also excellent.

As an added bonus, we met the owner's race horses, one of which was running at Wetherby a couple of days later. Let's just say I recommend backing these horses!

We stayed for one night, on route to a wedding at nearby Woodhill Hall. The house was easily found, and yet nicely secluded. We stayed in the Bede room, 2 adults and one child (the room can sleep 2 children. Lovely big room, with ensuite sink, toilet and shower. Beds were lovely old fashioned proper farm style beds and hugely comfortable! The window views were stunning, nothing but fields for miles around. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous, great cooked full english, well supported with fruit, juices, toast etc, really good quality, they even started the real fire for us! Might be a bit old fashioned for some, but that was a plus point for us, had lots of similar fixtures and fittings to our parents farm house! Would recommend to all, and we'd stay again for sure!

My husband and I stayed here in October for a short break to visit Kielder and the surrounding area and we loved it. It 's on a working farm and stable and is spacious and warm. The breakfast was excellent both days, lots of choice, and the view from the large dining room is very relaxing. Jane is most helpful and a very good hostess. We chose the bedroom with the king size bed and it was so comfortable - we slept really well. The en-suite was all we needed, although a little on the small side. If you like country house hotels then you will love it here. I can recommend the Bay Horse Inn down the road for a bar meal if you don't want the full dinner option at the B&B.

Three of us booked into Dunns Houses Farmhouse B &B on our way to Scotland and had a wonderful experience. Arriving that evening we laughed winding our way across the country road surrounded by thousands of sheep, we pulled up the beautiful drive way where Trish, the daughter of the owner, greeted us warmly upon arrival and helped us carry our bags up to our rooms.

The rooms were well furnished: while there were a few too many horsey nick-knacks, the beds were laid with nice linens, there were more than enough thick bath sheets and towels, and the bed was comfortable and had an assortment of pillows. Walking outside in the gardens before dinner was delightful as the light was magic.

The room includes full breakfast which was amazing. However, what is special is that Dunn's offers dinners. In that we were arriving late we chose to accept this option, and again, I was traveling with a colleague who has serious food allergies. Immediately upon booking, Jane, the owner, sent us the menu to preselect our 3-course dinner and inquired if anyone in our party had any food issues. Trish it turns out runs the restaurant and we were delighted at her remarkable attention to detail and the quality of the food she served. We brought our own wine and while preparing dinner she brought us beautiful leaded crystals glasses as we enjoyed the sunset.

If the “Percy” room is available, it has windows on 2 walls and offers an amazing view. If you want to catch the morning light, I did, don’t close the drapes and chances are you will be treated to a show of morning light as I was! Picture included!

I cannot recommend a visit with Jane and Trish highly enough, and if you are horse lovers or appreciate landscapes and gardens you are in for a treat!

Room Tip: Again, both of our rooms were wonderful but the Percy Room has a queen size bed lots of light!
