If you like remote then this is a great place to stay. near enough to places to visit but remote enough to have some peace and quiet.
Breakfast was really nice, selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and then hot English breakfast, enough to keep you going all day.
Evening meals were good value and, again, really nice. The lamb shank was excellent. Only had dessert 1 evening, sticky toffee pudding & ice cream, and this was nice too.
The room was clean and tidy. The only small issue was the shower temperature being a bit up & down but that was a tiny issue.
Will be going back again next year.

Brilliant location in open Northumberland countryside! We stayed a week for a much needed break. Most liked = the menu. There was a really good variety on the menu of fish and veggie dishes and service was prompt and friendly. Least liked - nothing really.

A haven in this glorious landscape!
We knew the kitchen closed at 8.30pm so stopped at Corebridge for dinner (The Black Bull) which was very hearty and welcoming. What a nice suprise when we recieved a call from Redesdale Arms to check we were still going to stay with them as their kitchen was about to close. On arriving we were told that the chef was concerned that we would be arriving after the kitchen had closed and would not have eaten - it made you feel wanted and cared for. Our Jack Russell dog was made to feel welcome
The room was comfortable with plenty of room if a but basic but had all the ammenities that you would want. Shame there was no menu in the room, it is always good to see what you may have missed!
Good freshly cooked breakfast with good coffee
One to stay at again

Super hotel. Staff were really friendly, rooms great - plenty of space and very clean, breakfast delicious, location very handy for all the local areas of interest. Dinner good and we tried just about everything on the menu!

Stayed here in Aug10 whilst on a solo cycling trip from London to Edinburgh. Arrived (tired) with no notice after 70miles of traversing a very hilly Northumberland. The owners were fantastic, nothing too much trouble, bike safely locked away overnight. Room was clean, quiet, tv, very comfy double bed and (importantly for me) a full size bath which was just like being at home. The bar area was nice, good atmosphere, good service and excellent food. I had a packed lunch made for me as I was leaving before breakfast, even had cereal and orange juice left outside my room at 0600! Bike met me in the hallway and I got on my way to Edinburgh in stunning countryside with no hassle. I took 5 days to do this trip (440miles) and this was by far and away the best stop of the trip. I would recomend this to anyone, single traveller, couples, touring or just a get away on the middle of nowhere. A1 thank you.

We had a quick weekend break in Northumberland and stayed at the Redesdale Arms. I'm so glad we did! Everything was perfect from the beginning, we received a lovely warm welcome from all the staff and over the weekend had some absolutely delicious food, including a fantastic breakfast which was enough to see us through the day. The room was very spacious and the bed gave us two of the best nights sleep we've had. The location is second to none, with some of the best views I've seen.
We discovered that they have just been awarded four stars, which is a fantastic achievement and well deserved. Treat yourself to a stay here and you will definitely be a return guest.

Clean rooms comfortable bed, some decor dated. The bathroom was for disabled use which made the sink and shower too low for us.
Best breakfast had in years, local produce.
Hlepful friendly staff.
