We called in for dinner, very busy, but made very welcome. Grabbed a table and a drink to wait for a table. Their system for starting a tab before you get a table worked really well. A good mix of locals and tourists happily co-existing in the bar, which is packed full of interesting memorabilia.
We were called through to our table in the restaurant. I ordered fish and my husband ordered a steak. Both meals were perfectly cooked. The staff were efficient and friendly from start to finish.
Well done to whoever owns and manages this place. A shame more places don't meet this standard, a gem. We will be back!

Low beams, little nooks and crannies make this a very atmospheric fisherman's pub. Expect a warm welcome and large portions. Book to avoid disappointment.

After our awful experience in the Schooner Inn. The Olde ship inn was so friendly with kids welcomed, the views were amazing and beer great.

Good selection of ales served in a friendly, atmospheric environment. Great views over the harbour from the garden.

Hard to get a seat which is probably because the food is good there but it did feel like there was a lot going on so wasn't that much of a relaxing place to eat on our first night after a long journey.
