Super course..lovely homely clubhouse, with helpful friendly staff..the course was very wet at the time of our. Golf Society visit, but ground staff were hard at work all day and result was very playable.

Often overlooked by golfing visitors to the area - but I think they miss out on a good opportunity. The course is quite short and compact (some shared fairways) - but Seahouses has plenty of variety and generally well kept greens and linksy fairways.
The tenth is a very memorable par three and be delighted with yourself if you hit the green and come off with a par or better.

The clubhouse is very friendly and comfortable - but in my visits to Seahouses GC I must say that the catering has been inconsistent..

We had sunday lunch at this golf club at the weekend and it was superb. A choice of three meats and plenty of fresh vegetables. We then were given a choice of six pudding, all traditional old english puddings of apple pie, lemon meringue, treacle pudding and spotty dick to name but a few. The staff work really hard to look after you. Wonderful

The holes are not long but you really need to think about each shot. Well maintained and a pleasure to play. Not many make a fool of this course, more likely the other way round.
Long is not always best.
