Beautiful old pub, went in for afternoon drinks with family and friends, one in a wheelchair. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Brilliant atmosphere, although we didn't eat here the place was packed and the meals looked gorgeous and at a reasonable price

I recently stayed one night in a single room. The room was plenty large enough and good value for money. Everywhere in the hotel/inn looked spotlessly clean. The hotel staff, all of them, could not have been more helpful. The bar has to be seen to be believed at 6pm - heaving with customers and a great atmosphere. Next time I am in the area I'll definitely book a room again at this place.

Room Tip: You might want to ask about a room with a sea view.

Just stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and find it difficult to fault it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and they bring it to you. Staff are all very polite. Evening meal needs to be booked as they are often full. Car park can be a little tricky to get into but managed it every evening.

Classic old pub in a great location near to the harbour. We particularly liked the atmosphere: log fire and the decor (lots of fittings from old ships and pictures of old and local people who looked like they were from the old ships!). The food was extremely good with a varied menu and the beer was good too. We'd definitely go back.

We ate here on 2/3 occasions during a 10 day break in Seahouses. Excellent food and service in a cosy and friendly atmosphere with good seafood at reasonable prices. Suggest you book to ensure a table though.

Having just returned from a two night stay at this charming inn. The whole place is spotlessly clean and absolutely full of character. We ate both evening meals in the hotel and couldn't fault the standard of the food or service. It made a change to stay in a hotel that has a nice quirky feel about it, instead of the usual run of the mill hotels. The staff seemed to enjoy working there and were very friendly, the owners obviously know what is required to run a good hotel.
