Macs Adventures booked us in here. Sister hotel to the Lindisfarne Inn at West Main where we stayed 2 nights before. Had to move luggage along a long corridor with plenty of ups and downs. Room was reasonably good. Shower really good. Evening meals good. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection. Position overlooking the sea front and being just across the road from The Ship Inn, the best pub in Seahouses enhances my rating.

The pub has views straight over the harbour. You can see the Farne Islands in the distance.
We had sandwiches and they were big with chunky bread, also pate, and again, we got a good quantity. We saw other meals going by and they were huge.
Staff were friendly.

Doesn’t give days at Bamburgh castle inn. It was fantastic. Our room in the annex was lovely and the maid came in everyday to make up beds etc.
Breakfast was fab - plentiful and good choice available. Evening meals nice
Staff were lovely especially Graham and Ryan. Had a good laugh with them at the end of the evening in the bar.
Other staff lovely - very efficient - they work really hard and everything runs really smoothly. Can’t really fault the place. Would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay - Stuart and Josh

I have read many comments from others about which pub has best steak pie in seahouses...my vote goes to bamburgh castle inn.
You get what you pay for...good helping of steak lovely gravy chips and peas. Granted its a bit more costly than nearby Links restaurant but more tasty.
The only bad comment is that if the steak pie had been puff pastry as we have in Scotland and not shortcrust..then fabulous.
On the plus side..i was able to enjoy my dinner and have my dog beside me so its worth the little extra cost of the meal.

Went just the once on our weeks stay in Bamburgh. Sat in the beer garden ( which overlooks Seahouses harbour) as we had our dog with us, but there are sections of the pub that cater for inside eating with a dog. We only had a sandwich and chips but very nice lunch and have water bowls for the doggies too. At around £7/8 for sandwiches, a nice place for lunch.
