My wife and I stayed at St. Aidan Hotel for two nights while travelling around Northumberland. We stayed in the "Indian" room on the second floor. The room was very spacious and both the bedroom and bathroom are very well appointed and supplied with all ones needs for a comfortable stay. The views are far reaching , both out to the Farne islands and up the coast to Bamburgh castle. Breakfast is served in a spacious room and is very extensive and cooked to order. With friendly and helpful hosts the St. Aidan hotel is an excellent choice when staying in this beautiful part of Northumberland.

Room Tip: The stairs to the 2nd floor are quite steep and would possibly not be suitable to anyone with mobili...

Only stayed one night on the way down to Sunderland recently but had a lovely stay. We had a room in a annex to the main building with our own entrance. Very nice room with nice little touches such as the bathrobes and chocolates. Very nice breakfast and were accommodated to have an earlier breakfast than the agreed times. Will be back again soon.

Stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights last week, Host's really friendly. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is amazing, fruit juice, fresh strawberries, rasberries, blueberries, melon, cereals, full English beakfast, also eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, toast and jams. The location is second to none with wonderful views of the Farne Islands. Also Bamburgh Castle. Good places to eat within walking distance. There is also an honesty bar with a comfortable lounge, very reasonable pricesWould recommend this Hotel. Thank you Sue and John .

Re-visiting Seahouses after many years and chose St Aidan after reading reviews. Not disappointed. Lovely room with super view; spotlessly clean; lots of nice touches. Breakfast wonderful: fresh fruit and generous cooked breakfasts. Honesty bar vey good value. Would recommend unconditionally.

Room Tip: We stayed in Taste of Morocco. Lovely room; wonderful view of Farnes.
