We originally found Seafield when staying at a B & B in the area and found that for the same price as several nights in a room in a pub we could stay in a caravan for the week.

Since then, we have been staying at Seafield on and off for several years and have never been disappointed.

If you want entertainment or onsite pubs and restaurants then, like other reviewers have said, Seafield is not for you. If you want scrupulously clean caravans in beautifully well maintained grounds then it is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of the village of Seahouses, there are shops, pubs and restaurants close by.

Along with the caravan rental, you get temporary membership of the Ocean health club including a gym, superb pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.

Lapwing numbers 1 to 9 are the ones that overlook the large open space of the children's play area. Even if you don't have children, it is a very pleasant outlook.

Access to each van is a few steps on to the decking, and a step into the caravan, but then it is all level inside. I did notice that Lapwing 7 has a ramp up to the decking rather than steps. There is parking for a car next to each caravan entrance.

Site staff are all friendly and helpful as well as dealing efficiently with any problems that occasionally may occur.

Room Tip: Lapwing 1 to 9 overlook the children's play area.

We stayed at Seafield caravan park in 2010, we really enjoyed our stay, we have recently been back to Seahouses, we didn't stay st the caravan park but had a walk round, we thought it was even better than when we stayed, snd wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Room Tip: Go to Bamburgh and try Carters Butchers, amazing tasty products

We have just returned from Seafield today feeling refreshed even after a holiday with two kids in tow!

We arrived to a gorgeous caravan and the fridge held welcomed items like milk, butter and a sticky toffee pudding made by a local supplier. There was even a loaf of bread in the bread bin too!

Our caravan overlooked the kids play area which I requested so we could relax while watching the kids play in the park. Our first evening was spent having a bbq on the verandah as the weather was glorious. We were joined by a duck and her ducklings too!

The caravan itself was spotless, I can't express enough how clean it was, the staff at Seafield do a superb job at keeping them clean. We had alsorts of cleaning items if we needed them from a vacuum cleaner to washing up liquid. Also toilet roll, tea towels and washing up cloths were provided.

We used the pool while we were there and the cafe/restaurant, both were fantastic and again very clean with friendly staff.

The beach in Seahouses is one of the most spectacular beaches I have ever had the pleasure of being on. My daughters had a great time jumping in the waves and we spent a lovely afternoon there. It is a stunning beach with one magnificent view of Bamburgh Castle in the horizon.

Highly recommend Seafield Caravan Park, get it booked. One word of advice though if you want a holiday with a kids club and entertainment this is not the place for you. We wanted some quality family time together in peaceful surroundings and this ticked all our boxes.

Room Tip: If you have children ask for Lapwing which overlooks the children's play area. You can relax an...

We own a tourer and returned to Seafield for Easter this year. We were there for a long weekend last year and a fortnights holiday the year before. The pitches are all hard stands and super pitches with their own water and electrics. The toilets are amazing there is a disabled access shower behind the launderette and there are really top class toilet facilities for both men and women including a bath if you wish. There is also a small bath in the baby changing room. The site is central to Seahouses and a trip to the Farne Islands is a must. When using the tourin park you get free use of the swimming pool , jacuzzi, steam room , sauna and gym. There is also a beauticians on site which offers many treatments at varying prices. There is also a small licensed cafe which serves top class snacks. All in all a 5 star experience. You get what you pay for at this site. Try it!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Seafield and it really is the best caravan site in the country. The caravans are stunning and spotlessly clean. The park is beautifully maintained and quiet. Thank you again for a fantastic holiday. We'll be back next year.

Have just returned from a 4night break at Seafield we had a beautiful caravan. It was a 3 bedroom . The double bedroom had an en suite which was lovely. Plus a further toilet & shower for the rest of family. on arrival there was a welcome package tea coffee sugar bread milk butter even a sticky toffee pudding. There is also a hair dryer in caravan. The only things you need to take are your own towels. This is the first tme i have stayed there but i definetley will be returning . Everthing was immacuate from caravan to the site itself. Also on handing keys in i got a tin of sweets for journey home. All nice perks. Would highly recommend this site for a relaxing break. So quiet and just metres from the sea. Cant wait to return. Thankyou Seafield for a great break..

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend with my son, husband and the dog. Stayed in Lapwing 18. Three bed caravan. Brand new, small welcome pack upon arrival. Even had dig bowls and a splash mat left for the dog. Caravan was spotless. Central heating. Second time we have stayed here and we will return.
