We originally found Seafield when staying at a B & B in the area and found that for the same price as several nights in a room in a pub we could stay in a caravan for the week.
Since then, we have been staying at Seafield on and off for several years and have never been disappointed.
If you want entertainment or onsite pubs and restaurants then, like other reviewers have said, Seafield is not for you. If you want scrupulously clean caravans in beautifully well maintained grounds then it is perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of the village of Seahouses, there are shops, pubs and restaurants close by.
Along with the caravan rental, you get temporary membership of the Ocean health club including a gym, superb pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.
Lapwing numbers 1 to 9 are the ones that overlook the large open space of the children's play area. Even if you don't have children, it is a very pleasant outlook.
Access to each van is a few steps on to the decking, and a step into the caravan, but then it is all level inside. I did notice that Lapwing 7 has a ramp up to the decking rather than steps. There is parking for a car next to each caravan entrance.
Site staff are all friendly and helpful as well as dealing efficiently with any problems that occasionally may occur.
