“A home from home in a spectacular part of the country”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed for a short break in the Easter holiday and from the moment we walked in the door we knew this was going to be a 'home from home'. We had everything we needed for our stay. The weather was wonderful and we did borrow some of the picnic items that were there for use. Slept really well, after walking in the fresh northern seaside air. The cottage is quirky and set on three floors with the kitchen being on the ground floor and the living room on the second. Very good internet connection, which meant my husband could watch his football from his Sky Go while I had control of the main telly, there is also a telly in the kitchen. Seahouses is a great base, fab fish n chips, pubs and the coop and little shops in the village sell everything you need. A trip to the farnes is a must as is a trip to holy island oh and Bamburgh Castle, I could go on because there is so much to see and do. Will be back.

“Top quality accommodation in an excellent coastal location”
Reviewed 12 May 2014 for a stay in March 2014

A lovely cottage, decorated and equipped to a very high standard. Every detail was thought of and the stay we had was first class. The location is great and offers lots of scenic coastal walks and good pubs and restaurants. The Farnes is a must for a short boat trip, offering amazing wildlife viewing. This little haven on the Northumberland Coast was a real treat for us and we have already booked our next stay.
