“Home from home”

Lovely cottage in an ideal location near the centre of Seahouses. Able to walk to pubs/restaurants and shops. Good central location for visiting sights and walking on the Northumberland coast.
The cottage was very clean and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. A real home from home.
The only drawback is no parking directly outside or outside space to sit in the sun but other than that it was excellent and there is free parking on nearby side streets.

Thanks very much for taking time to review our cottage.
There will be dedicated parking from January 2017.
There is a small enclosed area to the front of the property, complete with a bench for your use. It is a real suntrap until mid afternoon. Weather permitting of course!
Thanks
Jo

“Thoroughly surprised how lovely the cottage was and where it was situated etc”
Reviewed 13 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We found the cottage to be immaculately clean and spacious, with every Amienety you could possibly need, the beds were comfortable and plenty of room throughout the property to relax, coupled with ideal location close to all the shops and eating establishments, TV/sky/wi fi, etc all included with your stay, and close by to holy island and the farne islands too,a short drive to the A1, we even had a welcome pack waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely gesture, Jo the owner was so helpful with the booking and any other details we needed etc, on the whole we could not have asked for any thing more to make our stay special, the prices are extremely reasonable and we shall use again, many thanks,Colin. (We will try to book some sunshine next time !)PS,the booking agents were so helpful too !.

Liked best: The feeling of being relaxed during our visit and the excellent condition of the property.
Liked least: On a couple of occasions the neighbor was noisy, but they have every right to do as they choose in their own house !

You were my ideal guests, it looked like nobody had stayed when I went to clean, it was so pristine and tidy.

“Fantastic Cottage on the Sea”
Reviewed 13 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

If you are visiting Seahouses to see the seabirds on the Farne Islands I can certainly recommend this cottage as a fantastic place to stay. Spacious, comfortable cottage with plenty of home comforts for a longer stay. The host was even kind enough to leave some bread and milk in anticipation of our late arrival.

5 minute walk from the harbour, 2 minutes to the supermarket.

“Beautiful cottage in an ideal location - full of charm”
Reviewed 20 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We have just returned from a stay in Beach Haven cottage. It was our first visit to Northumberland and will not be our last. Firstly, the cottage is perfectly situated in Seahouses to visit the beautiful coastline and villages. Seahouses is a lovely village in it's own right, full of atmosphere. The locals are very warm and welcoming and there are some lovely pubs which serve great beers!

The cottage is so well equipped with everything you could possibly require. A welcome pack awaited us with traditional bakery items, milk and farm fresh eggs and a lovely bottle of wine. The kitchen is great if you want to cook in and the cottage is clean, bright, airy and well maintained. We will definitely return and use this accommodation again, although I think it may get fairly booked up once people discover how great it is.

The owners made us so welcome and gave us a list of places to visit together with a list of eateries in the surrounding villages. They are always on hand, living only a few minutes away. Can't recommend this highly enough, an absolute delight.

Thank you to Jo and Kevin, I hope you will have us back.

Comfortable property in centre of Seahouses with easy access to local amenities, shops, restaurants. Ideally situated for exploring coastline. We enjoyed the real fire (wood and coal provided) and appreciated welcome provisions (eggs, milk, bread, etc).
