“Cosy cottage, close to the sea”
Reviewed 25 March 2017 for a stay in March 2016

What a fantastic cottage, conveniently situated in Seahouses . With local amenities on your door step. Furnished to a very high standard , everything you need for a hassle free holiday. Great for cosy nights in , in front of the real fire. Fantastic location with so many places to visit, worth trying the local bus service to Newcastle and Edinburgh , so convenient and cheap to travel. Northumberland has so much to offer we have returned year after year and always some where new to visit, such as Barter books in Alnwick ( great cakes and coffee), craster kippers (fantastic traditional smoke house) and a boat trip to the Farne Isles to name a few.

“Home from Home”
Reviewed 15 March 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Excellent accommodation which was clean, warm and with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our dog Oscar particularly liked the log fire. The location is perfect it is a two minute walk to the local high street which has all the shops you need and a good selection of restaurants. We would recommend the Links View Hotel for meals which is dog friendly. The house is about a five minute walk to the lovely beach and a couple of nice pubs, nearby is also a local golf course. Both Bamburgh and Beadnell are within five minute drives or nice strolls along the beach. This is a great place to stay and nothing was to much trouble for the owners Jo and Kev. We would stay here again without hesitation

“Absolutely brilliant cottage for a Family Vacation”
Reviewed 24 February 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Brilliant well equipped cottage right in the heart of Seahouses. From pots and pans, to bedding and towels, to fresh eggs and bread on arrival, the owners of this cottage have really thought about those little things that make this cottage special. As a family with 6 and 8 year olds, the cottage suited all of us, and served us well. The local area has an amazing amount of attractions to explore, and our feet never stopped moving. We would definitely return to this lovely cottage.

Everthing was as we would have wanted. Clean and tidy home from home. Close vicinity to all amenities. Co op two minutes away, small beach for walking dogs. First time my mum has been to Northumberland and can't wait to go again.

“Fantastic Base to explore Northumberland coast”

Beach Haven cottage is a fantastic base for exploring the wonderful Northumberland coastline. Situated in the heart of Seahouses village, it is conveniently situated a few minutes walk from the high Street with easy access to restaurants, pubs, shops and the harbour area where you can take a boat out to the Farne Islands and see the very impressive wildlife of seals gulls and puffins. The cottage itself is very well furnished with a satellite TV and an impressive 30mbps Internet connection. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped , the beds are very comfortable and the shower very efficient.
The cottage is kept clean to a very high standard to await your arrival and the generous host even provides a welcome pack of a bottle of wine ,tea ,coffee, milk bread and eggs in case you arrive after the shops have closed. I would not hesitate to recommend Beach Haven cottage as an excellent base for a great holiday.

“Fantastic central location in the heart of Seahouses”
Reviewed 7 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Stayed for 4 nights in September. Lovely little cottage. Beautifully decorated and clean. Well equipped for self catering with lots of well thought touches such as bread, eggs & milk on arrival. Right in the heart of Seahouses, couple of minutes walk to harbour. Weather was really nice which made our stay even better. Comfortable lounge area with free wifi. Good beds with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Powerful shower and spacious bathroom. Will definitely want to stay here again.
