To say that visiting Bob and Ginny at Millyard House is 'like' staying with old friends would be true but it would be more accurate to say that it simply is 'staying with old friends'. We have enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, the interesting conversations and the legendary breakfasts on many occasions and we will definitely be back.

What an amazing warm welcome with freshly baked Scones and tea after an arduous wet and long walk. A beautiful room, superb breakfast, and lovely people not to forget they happily cater for vegetarians, Could go on with superlatives, but if you are ever in the vicinity, don't miss the chance to stay there.

Room Tip: Book early if you want to stay.

We stayed for two nights in August and cannot speak highly enough of Ginny an Bob's hospitality. We appreciated their attention to detail - the little touches made it extra special and they were most helpful. The breakfast was excellent - Bob even gave my wife an impronptu lesson in egg poaching when she complimented him on the eggs! WIFI available and excellent (not mentioned in the write up).
In a lovely setting and only a short stroll into Wooler centre.
Thank you very much Bob for the photo of College Valley (the reason for our stay) which was on the back of our recipt - we only noticed this after we had left!

Like the other reviewers we cannot praise Bob and Ginny enough for their warmth of welcome, and the quality of the accommodation, their garden and the breakfast. They are genuinely friendly and willing to do anything they can to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. If six stars could be awarded. they would be!

Stayed with my wife and two friends whilst walking St Cuthberts Way. We 2 made very welcome and enjoyed freshly baked scones and tea served in the beautiful garden. Rooms tastefully decorated with many nice extras.
Outstandingly good breakfast with wide breakfast choice.

We have stayed here twice and each time were delighted by the experience.Always a very warm welcome by Ginny and Bob in their wonderful conservatory where we were made to feel very much at home - nothing was too much trouble for them. They gave us a really first class breakfast and we also appreciated the tasty extras in the room and the tour of the secret garden and the bothy before we left.We look forward to returning!

From the welcome by Bob with tea and warm scones to the wonderful breakfast the following morning cooked up by Bob and Ginny this B&B is unbeatable. A lovely house, convivial hosts, peaceful setting, lots of lovely touches and the biggest breakfast choice I've ever seen in a B&B.To a footsore walker this was as good as it gets. Bob will even book you a table at the local restaurant of choice around here---Milan [also highly recommended].
