Stayed here on day 3 of the St Cuthbert's Way walk. Julia greets you on the door like old friends, and it really does feel like you are staying in her home. We had a room at the back of the house and it was quiet and comfortable and had a bath which was just what was needed after a long walk! Breakfast was delicious with local free range eggs and I had porridge which was fabulous.
We ate at a local Italian restaurant called Milan and I think we were lucky to get a table, it was packed! Delicious food and excellent service there too...
When you set off the next day, Julia brings you your boots all warm and dry to put on. Could think of nothing to make this place better, thank you!More
