stayed a couple of nights on business, the B&B is squeaky clean, modern with views of open fields from almost every room. Breakfast is substantial varied and tasty. The house is 1 mile or so from sherwood pines, so is perfect if you are attending an event there. I honestly cannot think of a single negative aspect to the location, establishment or service.

A lovely B&B although it is on a very busy road. As we were only staying for one night we were moved to the front room, rather than the one which we had booked. This was a lovely room, very tastefully decorated and with beautiful views, but we did experience a lot of noise from traffic. An excellent breakfast.with a good choice of food.

My wife and i stayed here with family, the B&B is squeaky clean, modern with views of open fields from almost every room. Breakfast is substantial varied and tasty.
The house is 1 mile from Rufford Mill and Rufford Abbey so is perfect if you are attending an event at these locations (we were), I honestly cannot think of a single negative aspect to the location, establishment or service.

Room tip: All the rooms ar eupstairs all seem equally good to me, all are en-suite.

Stayed a week as working in the forest catching rats. Most sumptuous surroundings for a pair of lowly rodent retrievers. Got upgraded to the royal suite and it was was most spended. We had a hearty breakfast and a goodly choice was offered. The walk to the village was very interesting and a good selection of eateries was offered from burgers to some slended fair at a fine eating house in the village.

This was a haven for me in a great location ideally situated to visit Robin Hood Country and all this area has to offer. Warm welcome from Liane, stylish home with super decor and comfy beds. Loved the cafetiere on the tea tray too. A bit of traffic noise but didnt affect my sleeping. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order and so many delicious choices. The natural yoghurt with rhubarb and strawberry compote was divine. Strongly recommend this B&B and would definitely return if in the area.

Room tip: Most rooms have showers only so if you want a bath, best to request.
