The staff here are really friendly and helpful. We stayed in Abingdon for 5 days on our boat. We ate here every day. The food was a really high standard and cooked and served and presented really well. I had the pork belly four out of the five times and the hub had ceasar salad four out of five times. At every meal the food was of exactly the same quality- fantastic. Reasonably priced, also well kept beer with good choices. I can't recommend this place enough. A great pub.

This pub has a nice environment on a week night. I got the ribeye which was a bit tough and a bit fatty. The chips were excellent! The chocolate dessert made up for it though! Very nice staff.

I was taken to The Broad Face by my mother and her fiance.

As an Interior Designer, I can confirm the decoration is wonderful, after all it's the first impression that counts. The staff were lovely and I'm an awkward vegetarian and the staff, especially 'Paulina' went above and beyond to make sure I had enough options. My mother and fiance had the Sunday dinner, which they said was very good and it's going to be their go to for Sunday lunches from here on out.

All in all a very good place for drinks and food, definitely worth a visit.

Dropped in on a pub crawl around Abingdon. The pub has had a good refurbishment. It had hardly any customers so lacked atmosphere but the friendly staff made up for it.

Thought we would give this a try as it has been refurbished ordered a couple of drinks and then needed the loo. The first toilet the seat was broken and the other the lock was broken which didn't fair well. These faults were reported at the bar.

A while later someone came to wipe the table down when we asked if the fascilities had been fixed and the response was 'after the table had been wiped'.

Customer experience needs working on.
