My partner and I loved The Old Post Office in the charming hamlet of Ardley. Our room was well appointed and cleverly designed. Spacious grounds included a large, bright breakfast room and a summer house for reading and relaxing. Best of all, though, was our friendly and helpful hostess, Barbara, whose main priority was our comfort and enjoyment. Her delicious breakfasts were perfectly prepared, with eggs fresh from her hilarious chickens. The B&B was ideally located a short distance from Flora Thompson country, and we enjoyed seeing the locales she used in "Lark Rise to Candleford." The Cotswolds were a beautiful country drive away, and the famous Bicester designer outlet complex could be reached in ten minutes. Barbara and Troy were the consummate hosts, and we totally enjoyed our stay with them.

Room Tip: They all looked good

My daughter and I were cycling and stayed here for 1 night. The cabin room was very spacious with a nice sitting area outside. Great bathroom with very good shower. Tea and coffee facilities and fridge in room. Very well decorated and great comfy bed. We needed to leave early in the morning so breakfast was leftin the cabin for us, and it was first class. We had cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, cereal bars, orange juice tea and coffee. Great value, lovely rural location and a very friendly, helpful host. Couldn't fault or want for anything.

An excellent B&B - you get your own cabin style room. Very nicely decorated with huge bathroom and even more importantly a powerful shower. Very quiet surroundings and you even get your own outside seating area. Huge breakfast in the morning and very friendly hosts. A great place to stay and very reasonably priced. Hugely recommended.

We stayed here on 13th April for a wedding at tythe barns. Ideal location, wonderful settings, Barbara was lovely a fantastic host, and greeted us as soon as we pulled up. Breakfast was great and the pub round the corner served great lunch. Can't fault it at all. Not far from Bicester outlet village so even time for some shopping :) looking forward to going again.
