“Calm of the countryside”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We spent one night in this beautiful farm, wanting to experience the calm of the countryside.

The rooms are cosy with a charming traditional decoration. Lynne is lovely, she cooks generous & delicious breakfast!

Great location to visit some of the beautiful villages around the area. There is also a Nature Reserve to explore (bring wellies) if you feel brave enough to get into the wild..! ;)

I stayed here with my husband for a few days as we wanted to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We chose this farm as it is in a great location for touring the villages in the Cotswolds.

We had an en-suite double room which was very spacious and decorated in traditional farmhouse style. The bed was comfortable and we had all the amenities you could need. The large garden is well kept, with great views over the hills. and the breakfast room was very charming.

The highlight of the stay was the wonderful hosts! Lynne is a lovely lady and her family made us feel very welcome in their home. The breakfast she cooked us each morning was delicious and kept us going until the afternoon. The personal touch of staying in a B&B over a hotel was definitely evident.

All in all exactly what we were looking for in our mini break, a relaxing getaway. Would definitely return!

We stayed here at the start, and when we'd finished (caught train back from Henley to Kingham) walking the Oxfordshire Way. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and all our requirements were met. There is always a very relaxed and welcoming attmosphere.

Location is quite central and is good for visiting the various sights around the Cotswolds or just relaxing. The Family room is very large and is great for a family to stay together. There is also a living and dining room to relax in. Bould Farm also has a lovely garden to stroll around with some cows and sheep nearby.

Lynne's breakfasts are superb and she is very friendly and accommodating.

Place is a little hard to find so arm yourself with a good map and follow the directions provided to get there.
