This was the most memorable occasion made so by Paul, Maria James and their staff. Our buffet for 110 was excellent (our guests words as well as ours), Nothing was too much effort they all worked so hard for us. We took 14 of the bedrooms which were all beautifully presented. Our breakfast was delightful with plenty of choice.
It says it all really because we checked out at 11.00 a.m. but left the premises at 6.00p.m. We stayed and drank tea coffee (the latter comes with wonderful (made on the premises we understand) chocolate biscuits in a kilner jar. Then it was a late lunch and a glass or two of something stronger. The setting of winding river, willow trees etc etc gives a picture of the ambience at this now very special place.

Room Tip: Extremely quiet at night in any of the rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on a Sunday in June. The room was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the Sunday roast and had a good breakfast on Monday. The staff were helpful. The position of the hotel near a stream in peaceful fields is a delight, while Kingham is a beautiful village to explore. The area around is also lovely. We hope to go again.

Room Tip: There are ground floor rooms.

Stayed with my parents recently for a two night "summer break".
The hotel is delightfully situated in lovely grounds.
The cream tea on arrival was very tasty and most welcome.
Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful throughout; and the food was well-presented and of a high standard. The choice at breakfast was particularly impressive.
All in all a great break.

Thank you for your really lovely comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your "summer break" with us. Why not visit us later in the year for an "autumn break" or a "winter break"?

My friend and I attended a wedding reception held here. It was a picturesque location for such a special occasion - the building and grounds were very well maintained. We also stayed in one of the twin rooms here. The room was very clean and well decorated - modern country with a newly fitted bathroom. The room also had an information booklet which was supportive in our decision on where to visit before going home.
For breakfast there were plenty of foods to choose from; cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and a cooked breakfast. I can confirm, having sampled most of the menu, it was very nice indeed and left me feeling full till tea time!
The couple who own the hotel were very welcoming and, along with other staff members, were very helpful.

Thanks for a lovely stay.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Mill House for a wedding celebration. The location was perfectly suited for such a fantastic celebration! The surroundings were beautiful, the staff were amazing and very helpful as nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was great with a comfortable bed, nice decor and modern bathroom facilities. I would recommend The Mill House Hotel to anyone who wants to escape for a relaxing weekend away. I look forward to return in the future!

We stayed for two nights in the Mill House and have to say it was absolutely beautiful.
The grounds were lovely, the food, service and friendliness of the staff was first class.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast on the lawn was so relaxing with really high quality food and excellent choice.
The Mill House was everything we had hoped it would be.
We will without doubt return to the Mill House and would highly recommend it to family and
friends without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
