We had a deal with groupon for this hotel so I took my husband for his birthday.
Included in the package was wine in our room on arrival, afternoon tea, breakfast and 20% of any spa treatments.
What a deal it was!
The hotel was beautiful, our room was stunning. Massive bed, large bathroom with separate bath and shower and private balcony. It was spotlessly clean and comfy. I often struggle to sleep in unfamiliar places but there was no trouble of this here as the Bed was sooooo comfortable!
We had a bottle of wine in our room which was lovely and then made our way for afternoon tea.
It was in the lounge which had beautiful views of the golf course and beyond with floor to ceiling windows and the afternoon tea was lovely. A selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes with a glass of prosecco and ice cream. Yummy!
We had booked to have full body massages in the spa so made our way down the the spa area. The massage was lovely and relaxing and afterwards we chilled out by the pool making use of the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, lovely! Again spotlessly clean everywhere and not too busy so very relaxing.
We had booked the restaurant for 9pm and service was quick and efficient and the food was AMAZING! Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help.
Breakfast was buffet style but again cannot fault it at all. It was hot and delicious with orders taken for toast and tea or coffee.
All in all a really lovely hotel which I would recommend to anyone and wish we had booked for more than one night!
Would I return, DEFINITELY!

Stayed in an Executive Suite with balcony and what a delight.
The deal was with Groupon for around £110 and for that you get afternoon tea and B&B.
Afternoon tea included a glass of bubbly and was enough to last all night unless you are starving!!
The Executive Suite looked brand new and we could quite easily live in it full time!!!
The bathroom had an enormous shower and a separate bath and also had Jack and Jill sinks.
The separate living room had settee, armchairs, and flat screen wall mounted TV.
The Super King bed was superb and this room also had wall mounted flat screen TV.
All linen was new fresh and clean.
Service was fantastic as was the Full English breakfast that was included.
I hate to share this place with everyone because I'll probably never get this fantastic deal again but you really must give this place a go!!!!

Room Tip: Executive Suites are Fantastic!!!!!

Attended a function with a one night stay at the Oxfordshire. Couldn't fault the check in or the stylish executive room. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Good bathroom with separate shower and bath. Public areas were also clean and well decorated. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one problem and they was after a well presented and tasty 3 course meal at the function in my very last mouthful of chocolate mouse dessert I found a piece of a sharp, clear object. Obviously shocked and worried about the possible consequences of this. However staff were very concerned and helpful in dealing with this. Probably a one off and probably will return.

Came across this hotel quite by chance. I didn't know it had a hotel as well as being a golf course.( I cant play golf by the way) It was just a nice place at very reasonable prices.
I went with my girlfriend for valentines weekend. wonderful hotel, comfortable, helpful staff and clean comfortable rooms.
Its a large hotel, and maybe it was jus the time of year, but it did feel a little bit empty. Not from lack of people staying, just all the space and lack of people to fill it.

Only down side I can think of was the shower. In our room the shower was more of a dribble than a proper shower.

Would definitely stay there again, and have no hesitation in recommending it to any one else who wants a nice hotel in the Oxfordshire countryside.

Great room, all the things you'd expect. Overlooks one of the best courses around (so I am told, I didn't play)

Staff really friendly and helpful.

Very nice breakfast with super outlook. I'd definitely go back.
