Accommodation was great staff were fantastic only downside was food was included but ended up paying a lot for sides and a cheeseboarg when you pay a lot for one night you think your dinner would include sides etc wine was very expensive but the breakfast was to die for

Were given a luncheon and massage by our daughter. Fab quirky place in beautiful countryside not far from Oxford. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would certainly visit again-food delicious and massage dreamy!

After seeing a few negative reviews I was anxious about my stay. I needn’t have worried. It’s quirky from the moment you arrive & have to check in on a London double decker bus that doubles up as reception. The staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was amazing. We stayed in a suite with an infinity bath and our own veranda.

We ate in the Thai restaurant, the food & service were fantastic. The meal was a little slow coming out but we were happy to wait and would rather that than be rushed out. We will definitely return.

If you want a beautiful afternoon tea, served by enthusiastic passionate staff,in sumptuous surroundings then this is the place. We have been at least 5 times over the last 2 years for afternoon tea (the Pimms 1 they do us very very nice)and it is consistently luscious! Never ever had cause for complaint about the food. we have stayed over at the hotels, we have had dinner a couple if times too. They have an extensive cocktail menu, my hubby says the Mojito there us 1 if the best he has had. Whether it's the piped music or the Jazz, there is always a relaxed friendly atmosphere. I really enjoy going (can't you tell). It's about a 50 minute drive for us/ on a good day but never tire of visiting.

We recently used the groupon one night deal that came with champagne, dinner and breakfast. We stayed in suite 4 which was nice and quirky but definitely not as nice as any of the pictures of the rooms presented on groupon e.g we did not have a roll top bath it was a standard bath. We were very impressed with the outside space that was attached to the room though. The food and drink was excellent although the menu was limited because we were using groupon.
