We have been visiting regularly since it opened and during our last visit the food was disappointing, the Penne con Salmon had very little Salmon and the pasta was undercooked, not
particularly hot and the dish was cold. The fries were a half portion.

Equally important a couple of key members of staff have moved on, the new waitress did not bother to ask how our food was, the others would have done. It was not busy.

Tried the Beaconsfield one instead during the week, better !

Visited here on whilst on work. Enjoyed the food, enjoyed the environment, and the service was good. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area :)

Really pleasant meal - very good atmosphere with plenty of hustle & bustle. Staff were friendly and efficient, service was quick without being rushed, but the table was rather small for 4 people.

Prezzo at Thame was a real contrast to the franchise in Oxford, which had been very disappointing the previous month - perhaps their Management would be advised to go to Thame to see how it should be done !!

We first tried this branch last year and were disappointed. Whilst the food was good, everyone is crammed onto small tables and we weren't keen to go back. However the Tesco vouchers enticed us to give it another go. It was exactly the same as before. The orders were taken quickly and the food arrived even quicker! Pizza's are much better value than other dishes, the prawn risotto was a bit sloppy and too strongly flavoured, as well as a small portion.
Dessert was a bit slower, but acceptable.
The problem we have had is the chaos going on on both occasions. There is a large table with 6 chairs by the window which the managers use for cashing up and other paperwork. Quite unnecessary when there is an empty floor upstairs, and quite frustrating when four of us were crammed on a tiny table which didn't have enough room for our 4 plates, salad and drinks.
On top of this, on both occasions, there have been staff and or managers sat at the desk located next to the table they like to seat us at. Every time a waiter tries to pass, they either brush past our chairs or have to get the managers to move, all very cluttered.
On this occasion we had the added bonus of a security firm employee playing with the burglar alarms - one of which was also located next to us, and to reach it he stood on a chair which was then left for half an hour in the way. This was a busy lunchtime service and this really should not have been done with so many diners around. As former hotel and restaurant managers, we would have been jumped on from head office for just one of the above, never mind all three, but as this was our second visit and with different staff and managers, it seems to be the norm. I will not be using my remaining voucher !!

Busy with a buzz even on an evening early in the week Prezzo Thame offers the standard Prezzo menu with prices slightly adjusted by their voucher offers . Do check your bill carefully and make sure you choose what is on offer and that the discount is then applied correctly . We asked the waiter if all we ordered was on offer and when the bill came one of the items had not been . The manager resolved it to our satisfaction without quibble .
It's not posh or up market but as a bite with friends in a good atmosphere with reasonable quality it gets the balance about right
