We stayed for 3 nights and had 3 goodnight sleeps! The rooms are comfortable and quiet but only a shower not a bath.
Located a short walk from the delightful town centre, A great place to stay with lots of pubs and restaurants to enjoy.
Only moan was that the internet didn't connect easily as in other hotels in the group.

We stayed here for one night on a weekend away. We frequently stay at Premier Inn hotels because you normally know what you are going to get. Unfortunately we were let down by this 'New' hotel.

Our main issue is with the wining and dining facilities. This hotel is not close to, or connected to a pub, instead it has its own sadly lacking facility inside. There is no bar to speak of, it is basically a fridge and a till. If you don't like WKD or pear cider you will be disapointed. The only lager for instance was a bottle of Becs alcohol free. The 'bar area' which is also where breakfast is served is small and not really somewhere you would like to sit and unwind after a day out. The evening meal menu is very limited.

Despite my fears the full breakfast was pretty good although they have the usual problem of the lights that keep the food warm also super heat the serving implements and continue to cook the fried eggs into bullets and the scrambled eggs into a hard crust.

The room that we had was the usual premier in standard and the bed was very nice as usual, on arrival in mid afternoon we were informed that they were understaffed and that our room might not be ready, thankfully when we made our way up, it was.

If you only want a bed for the night then this place is OK otherwise I would look for somewhere with all of the normal facilities at or around a premier inn.

We stayed at the Premier Inn Witney mid May. New style check in and with its own restaurant instead of having a pub chain next door. Short and pleasant walk into Witney with all its village charm, beautiful houses, church and if your lucky like we were a Food Festival! Staff at the Premier fab, rooms as you expect. One thing about this new style Premier though that I did miss was NO BATH! Nice and easy to get to Oxford, drive about 10 miles to Park and Ride. Lidl right next door to hotel as was a McDonalds, but who wants to eat that when you can get a great meal from one of the restaurants or pubs in the town? I loved this one, will be booking again. Oh, don't park under the trees - for obvious reasons!

Nice brand new hotel for money I have paid. Nice room, nice bathroom. The bed was OK.
Breakfast was not included. And I think it was a little bit expensive.
WiFi wasn't free. But its quality was very good.
5-10 minutes walk to city centre. 3 minutes walk from bus S1 from Oxford Bus Station.

When we stay in different parts of England, whether for Business or Pleasure, Premier Inn is usually our first choice for accommodation. This particular hotel is one of the newest 'High Tech' Premier Inns, with fancy self check in desk if you're that way inclined. Fortunately, there is also a member of the team available to talk you through the process or check you in manually.
One thing to note about this new style of Premier Inn is that the bathrooms no longer have a bath. You just get a nice large shower. This is fine for us as there is no need to climb in and out of the bath to take a shower, but if you're the type of person who loves to relax in a bath at the end of the day, you're out of luck. One other omission from the bathroom is the shaver socket. This does seem a little short sighted to me as we always travel with an electric toothbrush that needs plugging in to top it up. When we asked a member of staff about the lack of power in the bathroom, they told us that it was for 'safety'. Not sure that was the best answer as shaver sockets can be found in hotels worldwide, but they were also happy to provide us with an adapter socket as well, so they must be aware of the downside.
On arrival, the same member of staff also told us of discounts available in town for dining out. You just need to show your room card to receive the offer. Unfortunately, when we ate at one of the suggested eateries it turned out they were not actually part of the scheme after all, so do check before you dine if you want a deal.
Next door to the Premier Inn as a Lidl. They have a great range of Freshly Baked Goods available, so if you just want to grab something to eat here rather than paying for breakfast in the Hotel, you can do that. We stocked up for our days out and the quality was great.
Parking can be a bit tight as the gaps are rather small. I would imagine they run out of spaces if the Hotel is very busy.
The only thing I don't like is that the windows don't open at all and the room gets very hot. The A/C only goes down to 19 and creeps back up 22 every so often. I don't think it ever achieves 19 as the room remained hot and we couldn't wait to get out in the mornings. I suspect the Window is another 'Safety' related item, but some form of ventilation should have been included in the design. We may need to reconsider our hotel of choice if this pattern continues.

New hotel with very young and not so experienced staff, but everyone was very nice. Room was clean. Grocery store next door is super-discount Lidl without too much selection. Seems like it is in the middle of nothing but a path to walk to city center is right next door and charming once you find your way to town. A bit confusing to know which path to take so ask staff to draw you a map. Breakfast was fine and dinner reasonably good. I preferred to have dinner in town b/c of more selection and ambiance but food in hotel fine if in a pinch.

The Witney hotel is one of the most recent additions to the fast-expanding list of Premier Inns and, in our experience, it's fully up to the standard of the best in the chain. Booking was easy and reception was extremely efficient, carried out by the friendly receptionist using their new check-in machine.

The room was generously-sized with a chaise longue as well as a very comfortable double bed and it appeared to be possible to plug in all manner of equipment (USB, HDMI, iPod, etc) using a multi-function wall socket. The shower and loo were excellent and the large Samsung television was the best I've seen in a hotel room. The only slight quibble was that the room was a tad warm for one of us, and the temperature control didn't seem very responsive.

Breakfast was in a notably bright dining room and was an adequate buffet with the usual hot choices and a small selection of cereals, fruit and muffins.

All in all, it was a very good base for an all-too-brief visit to Oxford. Is there a downside? Well, there's a double-edged quality to staying in Premier Inns, or indeed any other lodge-style hotel. Yes - at least in the case of Premier Inns - you get a hotel that's well looked after, with friendly and helpful staff and a really good room. Wherever you go, you know exactly what to expect, which can be a very good thing.

The other side of the coin is, of course, that you could be anywhere; the sausage in Witney will be the same as the one in Aberdeen or Dover. And, aside from the wage payments, not much income will flow into the local community. So, whilst I shall choose Premier Inn over other brands, I wouldn't want to experience Britain exclusively via Premier Inns, however good they may be at what they do. And they are very good, this one especially so.
