“Fabulous Hobsons!”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Dropped in for Friday night drinks - a really good pub. The beer is excellent, as is the service and ambience. Will be back!

“Nice stop for a real pint”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

The Kings Arms is the perfect place to stop off for a refreshing pint of real ale in Cleobury. Can't remember which ale I supped (and i only had 2!) but it was from the left most pull and comes highly recommended x staff pleasant, efficient and courteous x nice fireplace in centre of the bar area xx

“Good home cooked food”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

We stopped in here on an overnight stay in CM and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was good and the service matched it. The food, though basic, was of excellent quality and plentiful. It was very reasonably priced also. The selection of Hobsons beers made for good supping through the night also. The pub does not look much from the outside but if you are passing give it a go. You won't be disappointed!

“Hobsons Beer”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Although we've been going to the KA for quite a while now we've never actually eaten there. What takes us there is the beer, Hobsons Best, Twisted Spire and Town Crier. Its a traditional dog and people friendly "real" pub. Only one slight downer and that is that some times the piped music is played too loudly.

“Everything a pub should be - please don't change!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

Having discovered this welcoming pub as it was marked as "dog friendly" (nearly missed it as roadside bar sign is a large "KA" and we were looking for a traditional KINGS ARMS pub name board) earlier in the week during our recent stay in the area, we just had to return for Sunday Lunch before we returned to Cumbria. What a great pub meal, a real treat for us. It was one of the best roasts we could ever recall having. The portions are generous and the meat and vegetables tasty and very well cooked. The service is attentive, friendly, but not pushy. Delightful range of good local (Hobsons) real ales and ciders. We sat inside with our well behaved dog but saw there is also a good patio area for alfresco dining and drinking. We have to recommend the food (and beer) in this pub and hope to return when we can. The value for money of both drinks (under £3 a pint) and of the good selection of food is also to be commended. The only (slight) disappointment for us was the poor choice (only two) of desserts. The apple pie had cinnamon and currants? in it which wasn't mentioned in the description so I had to leave it - but I realise this would be fine for some other people. Apart from the pudding by far the best pub we have been in this year, and certainly the best pub grub we've had for several years. Well done all at the Kings Arms! Thank you.
