Myself and three friends visited this hidden gem not realising how busy it would be on a Saturday evening, given it's a little of the beaten track! All thought they were fully booked they went out of there way to make sure we could eat and feel welcome. The staff although busy even had time to tell us of the history of the place. The food was perfect and I can honestly say it was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. After our meal my friend and I had a game of darts with the locals and although lost miserably still had a fantastic time sampling the 4 real ales they had on offer. Next time we have a break in this area, we will be sure to call again.
