Great place to have a look around on a nice sunny day. The gardens are kept immaculate. Its also dog friendly, which makes a change. After visiting the priory have a stroll around the town.

“Much Wenlock Priory”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2013

Spent a very pleasant hour or two at the priory. Very atmospheric, and despite 'enry ripping it all apart, taking all the galactic wealth some 500 years ago, and the locals removing huge quantities of stone the remnants are stunningly impressive. Hard to imagine all the monks wasting their lives chanting and praying over several centuries, and the outrageous greed and debauchery that went on there, -but as a visitor 'attraction' it's very definitely well-worth seeing. As it's run by a national 'asset' outfit, admission for non-members is a bit hefty, and the junk in the gift shop massively over-priced. Best 'value for money' is the 'audio' fingy which illustrates the history and utilisation very well, -that's just £1,
Much Wenlock town is quite delightful and well worth a walk round. The town's museum is FREE and fascinating.
