“Amazing location, quiet and perfect to relax and get away from it all.”
Reviewed 4 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The location is amazing. A mile down a road to the barn itself. Its behind Wenlock Edge so perfect for walking (if you like hiking). Maps and books in the cottage. Loads of games to play with the children and books if it rains too much. We walked into Much Wenlock with the children. The cottage is perfectly located for either walking or visiting the local attractions around such as Blists Hill, Ironbridge etc. Had a lovely meal in the Woodbridge Inn nearby (15 min drive). The owners very friendly and let the children help with the animals. A fresh home baked cake, bread, bacon etc on arrival. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped. Dishwasher, cutlery, sugar, coffee all bed linen and towels etc. We were ok with this as we are ok with steps so didn't affect us. The stairs to the main double bedroom (amazing size and nice furniture) are a little steep. That's the only negative which did not affect us. I would book again and go back here!

“Lovely”
Reviewed 29 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We had a lovely stay at The Granary. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, the setting was peaceful and the animals provided entertainment, particularly for the kids. Pretty walks straight out of the door and more further away.

“Secluded converted granary on a farm close near to Much Wedlock”

This is a converted granary in a farm located about 1 mile down a single track road close to Much Wenlock. It is quiet and very private. It is a very handy base to explore a the surrounding area. The accommodation itself suites a family with children - though you do need to be aware that access to the main bedroom (containing double bed) is via a very step 'staircase' that does make for an interesting trip to bathroom in the middle of the night.
Most of the kitchen appliances are fairly new and there was everything that you require to cater for all requirements. The main attraction though is the main room - it is spacious and served by a log burning fire (plenty of logs provided at no extra cost) that provides a source of heat and a cosy central feature.

“Amazing converted barn in a secluded area”

We have come back today from a wonderful week in the granary. Sarah and Richard were very welcoming and we arrived to eggs, bacon, fresh bread, butter, milk and a delicious cake. We stayed with our 3 young children who enjoyed helping with the sheep and pony. Lovely farm with ducks, horses, peacocks, sheep, a Shetland pony and not forgetting the tortoise. We had a relaxing holiday and walked to nearby Much Wenlock and drove to Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Telford. The log burner was lovely for cold evenings. We are so pleased we found this delightful place to stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

“Lovely secluded barn”

Excellent accommodation in a very secluded position (at the end of a National Trust road that could do with resurfacing).
