The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We could not have been better catered for. The breakfast was delicious. Only tip - if you are going out in the evening make sure you book a taxi in advance to get you there and back again as they are not easy to come by.

Thank you for such a glowing review. Your description of the decor has made Lexi very happy as that is exactly what she was aiming for. We are very happy that you enjoyed our sumptuous Shropshire breakfast, we really are spoiled for ingredients out here.
Whilst we are quite remote we are always more than happy to pre-book taxis (or tables at restaurants for that matter) for any of our guests wishing to go out for the evening. Please just let us know during the booking process and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
We hope that you will come back and stay with us again one day.

We had a delightful stay at the coach house. The food was top class and catered to our every need. The staff were amazingly helpful with tips on places to visit in the local area which is breath takingly beautiful. You're in for a treat staying at the Coach House!

We had a great time during our weekend at The Coach House. The place is under new management and Sean & Lexi are wonderful hosts - nothing is too much trouble. The food is outstanding - the bacon bread is worth a visit on it's own. Norbury is a great location for anyone wanting to get away from it all and explore some of the nearby long distance walks.

They really do exceed all of your expectations at The Coach House. I stayed there whilst travelling on business and it was a truly refreshing alternative to my normal corporate hotel accommodation. Beautifully decorated with luxurious bedding & beds that you don't want to get out of, I awoke not to the sounds of the motorway or doors banging but to birds tweeting and lambs bleating. The amazing home cooked delicious food and beautiful surroundings that you want to get lost in resulted in me leaving refreshed, revived and ready for my day. Brilliant hosts & all the convenience that you need for business travel but with a luxurious twist!

I wanted a quiet place in the country to meet up with old friends, enjoy some fine food and wines, partake of a little country air and generally unwind; the Coach House provided all this and more. Everything I could want for was provided: food was sumptuous and plentiful, locally sourced produce treated with the care and devotion it deserved to produce meals both delicious (the bacon bread was a touch of genius) and reflective of the local area (all the bread was lovingly baked onsite from sour dough); drink was catered for with both a well-stocked wine cellar and beers from the local 300 year old brewery; the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained; the hosts, Sean and Lexi, friendly and welcoming, happily acceding to every request and able to offer a wealth of fascinating information about the local area, including a range of good walks; and the Shropshire countryside - beautiful yet rugged, a hint of wildness, as good as anything this country has to offer. I can't praise the Coach House enough and look forward to a return visit in the near future.

We visited the Coach House for the weekend and our stay was fantastic. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Sean and Lexi are amazing hosts- dinner at the B&B should not be missed- the food is outstanding! Ideal for large groups of friends and/or for walkers since the location is surrounded by the stunning Shropshire Hills. Well worth a visit, we'll definitely go back.

This past weekend at The Coach House was a wonderful way to catch up with old friends in the warmest and most welcoming of places set in the stunning Shropshire hills. All our party had newly decorated rooms with excellent facilities. The communal lounge/bar area made for just about the most relaxing weekend you could hope for. The circular walk that we chose to do on the Saturday begins at the front door, takes you into the hills, within sight of Wales and back to the bar within a couple of hours. Perfect. Dinner on both evenings was stunning and, frankly, I’m pining for the breakfast as I write.
