“A great find!”

We had a lovely overnight stay here! This house is in a peaceful rural location and it's owners are setting very high standards- from their warm welcome to the delicious dinner, the well-stocked bar, the very comfy bed and linen, and the superb choice of yummy food for breakfast! A relaxing treat!

It so nice to hear that you thought we were setting high standards and we hope that we will see you again the next time you are driving the length of the country. We promise to make your pit stop as restful as the last time you came.

I visited The Coach House back in February with a group of friends for a countryside reunion. Sean and Lexi were so accommodating they reserved the whole place for our sole use. As most of these reviews already state, the food and hospitality here are fantastic. We opted not only for bed and breakfast but for evening meals too and we were not disappointed. Sean and Lexi were able to provide a delicious 3 course meal for a party of 10 with ease and my only disappointment was that I was so full I struggled to finish the chocolate fondant! They source their food locally where possible and are able to tell you which farm the sausages, eggs and bacon are from. Even if you're a vegetarian their ability to offer alternative options are endless.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful and you can start your walks as soon as you leave the driveway. After returning to The Coach House, we were greeted with Lexi's homemade tea and cakes. I opted for a room without an en-suite as the alternative was a bathroom opposite which overlooked the unrivalled countryside. To unwind before dinner I disappeared into the most amazing and sumptuous of baths. With complimentary organic bubble bath and toiletries (and a very large glass of red wine) I was able to soak away my aches until joining the rest of the party in the lounge for a pre-dinner drink.
I would highly recommend the Coach House to anyone - whether it's a romantic weekend away or for a group retreat. Whatever you're after you won't be disappointed.

Just got back from a nights stay at The Coach House. Absolutely fab. We arrived late afternoon and were greetd by Lexi who, after we had settled in brought us tea and homemade banana bread out to the patio, where we were joined by their two lovely labradoodle's. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The evening meal was fantastic as was the full in english breakfast, both cooked by Lexi's partner Steve. Bishops Castle is only 10 minutes away, a delightful town with two breweries and lots ofbinteresting shops. So If you want to really want to get away from it all I would highly recommend this place.

I don't normally bother with online reviews but The Coach Inn is worth the effort!! We had a wonderful stay at The Coach House in May after finding it on a booking site. The surroundings are beautiful with the Inn set in the rolling Shropshire countryside. It was so peaceful, set in the small village of Norbury but close to Ludlow, Bishops Castle and the Welsh border. The room was well decorated and the ensuite bathroom was modern and very stylish. However, the owners have also managed to retain the old charm of the building with exposed beams and original floors downstairs. It has a great feel about it. Breakfast was excellent - all cooked to order and a great choice. The owners were very friendly and we loved Otis and Ella - new additions to the family!! We understand this is a new venture for them and they are doing an excellent job. We wish them every success and we highly recommend The Coach Inn.

We've just spent the weekend at The Coach House and we're already planning our next visit. It's set in a perfect location, surrounded by beautiful, rolling Shropshire hills and is perfectly situated for walkers, both veterans and novices alike. The rooms have a tastefully understated, boutique feel, giving luxury without trying far too hard. Our room was immaculately clean, really bright and airy and filled with lovely, original features you'd expect in a cottage as historic as this one. The sheets and furnishing are of a high quality and we both slept like logs.
The service we received from the hosts - a lovely young couple who are clearly very passionate about their business- was outstanding. There was so much choice at breakfast, which was really impressive- the ingredients clearly all sourced locally and of a great quality.
We chose to stay on for dinner too and we were very glad we did. Sean and Lexi went out of their way for us and we ate like kings.
The grounds on which The Coach House is situated are beautiful. It's like a fairy tale cottage in the most idyllic scenery.
The added bonus is the two most adorable Labradoodle pups who will welcome you at the gate, Otis and Ella. They are bags of fun!
If this is the standard that The Coach House are offering, having barely been open a year, then I look very much forward to seeing what it's like in the future.
We will definitely be repeat customers!

We had a couple of days in the Coach House which was perfect. Comfortable and with a very warm welcome, this B&B is ideal. Situated in a quiet hamlet with easy access to all that Shropshire has to offer its highly recommended.

The booking was made by friends who know the owners and so the welcome was very much as an honoured guest in their home, but professional nevertheless. The room was well appointed and had lots of nice touches with coffee, water and high class toiletries. I am a seasoned traveller and When staying in a period property like this I know that there may be a small delay in getting hot water in the bathroom, but although this was the case, the room was refurbished to a high standard and the bed was very comfortable, so no gripes whatsoever. The highlight however was the breakfast - a great selection of granola cereals, yoghurt etc plus a well cooked traditional English breakfast with the most amazing home-made bread. First class coffee. They accommodate my timing request for breakfast perfectly. Would definitely stay there again!
