Me and my wife stayed with Paul and Nora for 6 nights over Christmas 2012 and had a great time using their house as a base while we visited friends and family in the area. They are a lovely couple who couldn´t have made us feel more welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The double room was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean - as is everywhere else in the house - and the bed very comfortable. With it being Christmas they had hung up all the decorations and made the place feel very homely. Breakfast had everything you could have wished for in terms of variety and was extremely tasty, and again you could not complain about the willingness in which they ensured we had enough food - so much so it could be easy for someone like me who loves good food to gain a lot of weight in no time!
As a base for someone staying in the Oswestry area it is ideal as it situated near the town and also the main North Wales / South Wales trunk road. .The price was not expensive at all for what is offered and we will definitely stay there again when visiting Wales and also recommend it to visitors as I feel fairly sure that they won´t be disappointed.
