We stayed here between Christmas and New Year with our 2 boys and it was thumbs up all round, the Yurt is really spacious and well planned out with all cooking utensils you could possibly need. There is a 4 ring hob so easy enough to conjure a hot meal, would be great in summer when you could have a BBQ but it was a bit too cold in December

Shower was powerful and hot as were the washing up facilities and a lovely clean toilet

The decking area really makes the setting - we had great weather - freezing cold with beautiful blue sky's and the sun shining in the frosty fields both morning

The boys loved playing on the swings and trampoline and it's so lovely to let them run free

On arrival the fire was lit and very cosy

Good location about 5 miles outside Oswestry, we visited Raeadr falls (40 mins away) horseshoe Falls, Llangollen and Chirk - all good days out

Good Morrisons in Oswestry to stock up on provisions and I think there was a small shop in the village - really need to drive everywhere - probably different in summer when it is lighter for longer

Small request would be to have better quality pillows and duvet covers although this doesn't detract from the overall experience

It was amazing to go outside at night and see so many stars in the sky - we would definitely return

Thanks for having us

Stayed over a bank holiday weekend with kids and the dog. The yurt was lovely, electric blanket on the bed, fairy lights and a wood burning stove. It was freezing outside but lovely and cosy inside and really comfortable. The shower was great, hot and powerful. The kids loved it, particularly the trampoline and the dog loved being able to roam around. We were left alone, so it was really private. The views were spectacular, gorgeous scenery. Tom recommended a great little walk through the woods nearby. A really special holiday. Will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The pleasures of camping outside (fresh smells, sights and sounds) but the comforts of being inside (log fire, hard walls, space, being dry, hot shower).

Went with 2 juniors & 4 adults. Rain meant we spent some quality time together stoking the fire and catching up.

For all the places I have stayed in the UK and abroad this has to be the most special.

Me and my boyfriend love camping but because it was his birthday I decided to treat him (and me of course). I surprised him with 4 days away here. The yurt is like no other I looked up and was by far the most inviting with its own toilet, shower and has power. I decided to book and was the best decision I made. The location is excellent, the yurt was tip top. We arrived to a lovely warm fire which made it very warm and welcoming. It's pet friendly which meant our dogs could come with us. Very safe place to let them out and play.

Can not wait to be able to visit again. Already trying to plan another few nights away here.

Just got back from a weekend glamping. Loved everything about it. very roomy Yurts with great views everything you need, just take your food, there's a small fridge well equipped kitchen area and everything you need to wash-up after. So much easier then regular camping and much warmer, with a log burning fire and electric blanket you could glamp in the middle of winter.
Ten mins drive into Oswestry Market town with loads of shops and coffee shops, a great place to pick up fresh eggs and veg for your stay.
Great for family's or a romantic break.
Can't wait to go back
ps the outdoor shower is amazing
