I arrived alone and was greeted by the lovely warm and friendly Jo who introduced me to the Oak Suite. The room was gloriously comfortable with everything needed. Breakfast delivered by Vern each morning was a total joy, so much better than a hotel breakfast room. My friend Heather joined me the following day. After a long journey the room was so comforting and after a day in bustling Liverpool the peace of the Oak Suite was hugely welcome. I will stay again. In fact I can't wait for my next trip. Thank you Jo and Vern

We stayed for two nights in the oak room, a family of four. The room is beautifully done, with nice finishing, comfortable beds that really feel luxurious, small fridge, kettle - tea/coffee provided - and a lovely, modern bathroom. You can get breakfast for £7.50pp, (hamper), a little more for a full cooked breakfast - and although we didn't order it, all the recommendations I saw say it is lovely. If you are going straight out for the day there are a couple of supermarkets locally where you can pick something up on the go. Everglades is 5 minutes from Oswestry town centre, an easy walk - lots of pubs in easy reach, takeaways that deliver to the residence and a couple of restaurants also. Langollen is nearest "tourist" town - 20 minutes away and good for a day out. I would highly recommend Everglades, either as a very high quality stop-off point between destinations or a great place for a relaxing short break. The garden is pretty and sitting on the patio with a glass of wine is a great way to pass an evening! Jo and Vern are lovely people - thoughtful and available but not intrusive - you won't regret booking.

Only stayed for the one night but wish we could have stayed for more. Upgraded to a suite which was very spacious and comfortable, great room facilities. The room opened on to our own patio area which was especially nice in the current warm weather.

Owners Jo and Vern were very welcoming and helpful throughout our brief stay.
Breakfast was brought out in a picnic basket which was a nice little touch.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing. Our hosts were so friendly and could not do enough for us. Rooms are large and lovely decorated and very clean and there were toiletries there for us to use. There are bathrobes there and a hairdryer. The breakfast is something else - it is brought to you in a hamper and it has a lot of choice for you. Would definitely stay there again if I go to Oswestry as it is not too far from the town and the hosts could not do enough for you. They are a lovely couple who make you feel welcome as soon as you get there. Thank you for a lovely stay xxx
