We booked Barnutopia for a long overdue family get-together, and it was as good a location as we could have hoped for.

Situated on the border between England and Wales, the location is stunning, with rolling hills surrounding the property. We were welcomed by the owners and immediately put at ease as we were shown around the site, Our yurt (one of the two smaller ones on the lower field) was about right for two - four would probably have been a little too cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and on the whole all of our group seemed to be satisifed with their accommodation.

There is ample space on the property for both those who wish to run around and blow off steam, and those who wish to find a quiet corner to coexist very happily, and the faciities are of a good standard. The animals are also wonderful, and extremely friendly.

Oswesty is around 15 mins away for any provisions you may require, and there are two beautiful waterfalls nearby, a small one a ten minute walk away, and the magnificent Pistil Rhayader a half-hour drive away. There is a village pub within walking distance should you feel the need to leave the site, but - quite honestly - your time would be better spent sat on a hay bale around one of the fire-pits in the barn, making happy memories with family and friends.

Thanks to all at Barnutopia, we had a fantastic time.

Just arrived home from our Son's wedding at Barnutopia & loved every minute. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. They went above & beyong to make sure that every litte ask was catered for. Very relaxed feel to the place with stunning views. I want to go back already. Beds super comfy, bathrooms clean, fab kitchen area. I just loved it !

Wow! Thank you. And a fabulous group you were, too. I'm looking out of my office window now and the yurt field looks very empty. Lots of laughter at the weekend. I'm looking at all the pics and videos and chuckling.

My nine year old son and I arrived on Thursday 1st November 2018 and we left on Sunday 4th November 2018.
My son loved the animals (especially the pigs) and he came home happy. We walked, paddled in the stream and climbed trees.
We fell in love with the Yurt, the breath taking scenery and the freedom of being close to nature.
The food was delicious and a huge thank you for the bonfire/firework display.
To be able to relax in such lovely surroundings with such generous and thoughtful hosts made this the most perfect Glamping experience.
Katrina, I am very grateful for your patience and directions when I felt lost in the dark.
Save us a Yurt...we will be back for sure...
