We've been lucky enough to stay here before and we're delighted to say the hospitality is as fantastic as ever. On this occasion it was my parents who were staying and not us but John & Ricky made us feel as welcome as guests. We were on our maiden camping trip taking the opportunity to test our new tent nearby. As the monsoon looked set to come in and as the Rectory was full John set about helping is find some back up accommodation. Thankfully we didn't need to take shelter on the other side of the lake as the alternative didn't compare (overpriced and unhelpful). We were also invited to join my folks for breakfast the next morning, and it was made clear to us that it was no problem at all. Two weary campers arrived the following day, later than expected but kitchen was kept open despite having a fully booked Sunday lunch service to prepare for, and were revived by outstanding eggs benedict and fried eggs on toast with bacon and a lovely pot of tea. After a leisurely breakfast John let us know we were welcome to stay and enjoy the view until we were all ready to ship out. This is one of the most beautiful spots you will ever find, and with hospitality second to none this is where we'll be coming back to next time! Thank you John, Ricky & team.
