A friendly welcome, plus clean and comfortable rooms. The food at the restaurant wasn't brilliant, but OK all the same. there was ample car parking.
The site is situated near to the river, which provided a pleasant place to walk off the premier breakfast! Would stay here again.

Getting to know the Premier Inn brand quite well. Have now stayed at several throughout the country and all are to a very satisfactory standard. This one at Bridgwater was no exception. Cheerful welcome at reception. Comfortable bed in a clean and warm room. No problems at all.

Stayed here sat night to visit carnival. The hotel was fully booked with all rooms taken. Our room, No. 53 was clean, tidy and of a very reasonable standard. However, it did suffer from a little noise from a pump in the cupboard next to the room. I am sure this would not be heard from any other room though. On the website it does mention it is on a main road in an industrial area but this had no diverse effect. The location is not pretty but gives excellent access to the M5 and all other major routes. Staff were very friendly and tried to make every effort to make polite conversation. Breakfast was to the normal premier inn standard, great choice and generally very tasty. If you need to access Bridgwater or surrounding area you won't go far wrong here. P.s. thanks Collette.

Room Tip: Would advise an upper room facing away from the petrol station.

Picked the hotel for location as we were down to see the Bridgewater Carnival. Very handy. Then used it as a base to go elsewhere. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was clean and beds comforatble. No complaints at all.

We absolutely loved this Premier Inn! Lovely room with a full Freeview TV service, shower/hair gel and hand soap included, good quality towels and 4 lovely comfy beds and 1 travel cot. With Premier Inn you get those little extras to make your stay more comfortable (hairdryer and fan in the room - even a bottle opener!!). Climate control in the room was greatly appreciated.

The pub/restaurant next door had a great soft play area for the children - it really makes a difference to let the children burn off excess energy after a long drive. It meant they were ready for bed and we could enjoy a more relaxed meal and a drink.

We stayed at Bridgwater Premier Inn on 17/10/13 and Portishead Premier Inn on 25/10/13. This review is being written for both hotels. I cannot stop raving about Premier Inn!! You may a little extra, but it is so much worth the extra money paid!

Well done Premier Inn!

i used the premier inn with my family, as my sister had a swimming gala at the nearby millfield school. We stayed the night in room 14, on the ground floor. A few people have complained about noise when staying on the ground floor, but I can't complain about this, as we all found it very quiet. Although maybe this was because we slept so well! We had a family room and all the beds in the room were so comfortable, as they always are in premier ins. The bathroom was modern and very clean, although we did have a minor issue with the loo not flushing, but the staff rectified this VERY quickly. in fact the whole room as very clean, so well done the housekeeping staff! The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly, and did fix the minor issue we had with the toilet not flushing, so no complaints there at all. The only slight let down was the brewers fayre (see review on that) which wasn't quite what we were expecting. But all in all this was a really good hotel, would recommend to anyone and if we are in the area again, will definitely not hesitate to book here again!

Room Tip: if travelling with elderly or wheelchair users, there are no lifts/elevators, so would recommend gro...

Stayed at this premier inn as a stop over for the family of 4 plus grand parents on a trip to Cornwall.

Usual premier standard, clean easy access and no frills.

Highlight was the welcome provided by the staff in the hotel and the restaurant next door. They couldnt have done more.

Will probably use again
