“Beautiful, even in the rain!”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Magical. I could have spent all day reading the inscribed brass plaques. I feel blessed to have stumbled upon this when driving through Clevedon.

“Charming and historic”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

A walk on the pier? Doesn't sound much but it's a real pleasure to stroll along the planks to the cafe at the pier head. On a clear day you can see the landmarks of Wales including the Millennium Stadium. Check out the brass plates attached to the seat backs and at your feet inscribed with dedications as you make your way to the end. A few quid for entry but it's worth it. Read the history, it's was a real struggle to restore the pier after the 1970 collapse. Oh, one more thing, One Direction filmed the video for You and I here in March 2014!

“A delightful piece of history”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

This pier is a classic landmark of a bygone era. While the pier itself provides a really nice walk out over the water, there are plaques that describe the history of how the pier was built. Really worth a visit if you are in the area.,

“Stunning!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Clevedon is an absolute gem, a beautiful seaside town, quieter and smaller than Weston Super Mare along the coast. Stunning views across to Wales from the beautifully restored pier, and friendly staff in the pier shop. Well worth a visit
