We've just stayed at Town Mills for the second time and had an equally good visit. Lovely old house, very clean comfortable room overlooking the pretty garden. Alison and Charles are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We'd definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful few days stay at this superb accommodation. Our room was spacious bright and spotless. We also appreciated the extra touches. Breakfasts were very tasty and nothing was to much trouble for our lovely hosts Alison and Charles. They were full of useful information about the area and had a great sense of humour.
Dulverton is a quaint place to stay and we had three very good meals out all within a short walk from the B&B.
Definitely to be recommended and we hope to return.

Alison & Charles run a wonderful establishment on near professional lines. They are both welcoming and informative and lovely characters.
The building itself is situated in very pretty gardens alongside a mill stream. it has adequate parking facilities linked to the main car park and has an entrance that leads directly into the centre of the village.
The rooms are immaculately clean, bright and spacious with very thoughtful little extras that go a long way in creating lasting memories and a memo to return for their tasty breakfasts......
The village has a wonderful atmosphere. We were lucky enough to find ourselves arriving to a beer and folk festival, complete with Morris dancers and on the step entertainment throughout the day and evening by folk singers and players. Exceptional times were spent at the Bridge Inn (good food too) and the range of restaurants and Tea Rooms serving good local food made it hard to pick a favourite.
Great place, great village and beautiful scenery.
Thank you Alison and Charles, from the room 4 occupants.

Room Tip: The suite where a couple of our friends stayed was really lovely. Slightly more expensive than the...

Our planned B&B let us down, having forgotten we were coming, so popped into Town Mills on the off-chance, Alison had a beautiful room for us, very comfortable and very clean, the whole building is just lovely, central in Dulverton we could eat and drink without having to drive. The room was very quiet and spacious, lots of nice amenities - the carafe of white port was very welcome after a long and stressful day. Breakfast was first class, very good quality food, cooked beautifully and presented well. I think Alison and Charles only have adult guests which is really nice when you don't want to be in a B&B which has children. I'm back down in Dulverton soon and know where I'll be staying!!!

I recently stayed at Town Mills with a couple of friends whilst on a cycling weekend. The owners (Charles & Allison) were very friendly and welcoming, offering us a cup of tea/coffee on arrival even though we arrived early (before midday). Our rooms were ready, and what rooms they were. Very bright & spacious with comfortable beds. A purpose built bike shed was even available for our bikes! Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious.

Charles & Allison were also very helpful with suggestions for an evening meal, plus giving me some advice for the weekend of June 14th/15th when the UK half Ironman event come to the nearby area (I am racing).

Will definitely return - thoroughly recommended.

We recently spent 3 nights with Charles and Alison at Town Mills in Dulverton. The rave reviews on Trip Advisor are well deserved.

You really couldn't ask for more in a B&B establishment. Friendly personal service. A interesting old building. A quaint village. Steps from a used book store and a lovely pub.

Charles and Alison (the Innkeepers) do everything in their power to make your visit a joy. Little touches like daily printed breakfast menus with the weather forecast and the local sources for the ingredients to your breakfast meal. They greeted us with tea and a nice chat when we arrived. Informing us about the area and swapping stories about places we had all visited in the past.

If you are going to Dulverton or Exmoor, you won't go wrong by staying at Town Mills.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 5 on the ground floor. It is an interesting room with a separate sitting area. T...

This is a truly exceptional place to stay, with the unmeasurable aspects outweighing the mundane quantifiable physical aspects.
You may take for granted that everything is generous,spacious,easy-going, tasteful and spotless.
Over and above, is a pervasive feel-good factor that makes Town Mills "Worth a journey"

(You will recall that the green Michelin guides classify places as *Interesting, **Worth a detour and a very few top places as *** Worth a journey)

Room Tip: We had the Blue Room which is lovely. Other rooms are differently furnished but equally attractive
