“A lovely home”
Reviewed 30 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Me and a few friends went away for a few nights to Devon and this was the perfect property for us. The house was very lovely. It was spacious and very clean. There were lots of facilities included which was a nice touch. The house was a 10 minute walk from the local village, where there were a few shops including a co-op and some lovely pubs. There was lots to do around. One day we went to Tarr steps which was beautiful and then went to the beach where we decided to take the costal route which was absolutely stunning. I would recommend this property highly as it was in the perfect location with perfect amenities. From one home to another!

“What a find!”
Reviewed 27 May 2018 for a stay in August 2016

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious house. The kitchen was superbly equipped and the views from the kitchen, living and balcony were beautiful. The property was clean and well-decorated. The log-burner made the house especially cosy on a cold winters day!

We found a wonderful walk around the back of the house and also enjoyed a short drive and another beautiful walk at Tarr Steps.

Both ‘Woods’ (a dining room - brilliant for a Sunday roast or an evening meal during the week) and ‘The Bridge Inn’ are ‘musts’. Great value for money (and superb food) and just a 10-15 min stroll into the main village. They are worth booking in advance though as seem popular with locals and visitors alike. You will also find a Co-op and a range of shops and tea rooms in the village.

We would recommend this property to anyone. It made a great weeks stay for us - plenty to do and see.

“Lovely home set in Devon countryside”

We have stayed in Merrijig Dulverton on a couple of occastions while visiting Devon. Its located on a quiet road with offstreet parking and is easy to find. The living room is upstairs and has a balcony which has fantastic views of the Devon countryside and is a great place to relax in the evening. Its a short walk to Dulverton and a short drive to the coast so can act as a good base. The house has some good walking trails nearby and is about 20 or 30 minutes walk to the Tarr Steps which is definately worth a visit. The house itself is clean and very well kept, good sized and well equipped kitchen diner with a large well maintained garden at the back. The 3 bedrooms are all clean and large as well. I would happily recommend this holiday home to anyone visiting Devon.

“Beautiful Dulverton home from home”

Couldn't fault this lovely holiday rental! A comfortable, spacious and well equipped home with drive way parking for two cars and stunning views across the valley. We were lucky enough with the weather that we could eat out on the balcony on a couple of evenings which was a real treat!! Notice there is also a log burner in the living room so I imagine it would be very cosy for a winter stay.
The house is a short walk to the centre of Dulverton which we walked a number of times to get food from the local store and of course to try out the local pubs, The Bridge Inn is well worth a visit! We also found the house to be surrounded by so many beautiful walks, including a nice 30 minute stroll at Tarr Steps and a lovely walk along the river at Watersmeet (approx 35 minutes from the house).
We will definitely be returning to Dulverton as there is still so much to explore in the area and this wonderful home is really the only place we would want to stay now! Thanks for a superb holiday.
