Girls weekend away with friends to relax, chat and enjoy meals together! We were not disappointed as staying in this beautiful B&B we were made to feel at home by Karen and Ian. The idyllic location, fantastic food and attention to every detail ensured that we had the weekend that we hoped for & more, we couldn't leave without booking up our next visit.

Intimate, cosy, welcoming and super relaxing...we just wish we could have stayed longer.
No wifi or mobile signal makes this off the beaten track B&B a truly superb break from the daily grind. We felt like we'd stumbled on one of the best kept secrets in Dulverton. Despite the constant February drizzle, we were warmly welcomed, well fed and well rested.

The guest accommodation is well designed and though not enormously spacious, what it lacks in square footage it makes up for in elegance, comfort and charming attention to detail. Lashings of hot water, luxurious Turkish bed linen on a firm and very comfortable bed and glorious peace and quiet, combined with beautiful food, expertly cooked and served by the owners - it really felt like nothing was too much trouble.
The guest book is full of rave reviews and I can guarantee you'll be won over by Streamcombe Farm's hilarious Guineafowl, pink cat (i'm not even joking) rolling hills and attentive, kind owners.

My only thought is that full size bath towel would be the icing on the cake in an otherwise stunning bathroom and a full length mirror in the Hayloft Room so you can check you're presentable for dinner after a hard days hiking and long soak in the roll top bath!!

Thank you Ian and Karen, we hope you'll have us back again!

Room Tip: We had the Hayloft - worth the extra £20 for the ceiling beams, dressing room and fabulous bathroom

We agree with the other reviewers. This is a lovely place and the owners could not be more generous and welcoming. Morning's found us joined by guineafowls, chickens, and an owl roosting in the barn. Everything about this B&B has a mark of quality about it.

Dulverton is also a pretty little place to visit, and we were treated to a jazz/irish/fusion folk band playing in the local pub.

Relaxing, friendly and quality. Well worth a visit!

My Parent's have stayed twice at Streamcombe Farm (Feb 2012 & July 2012) and my partner & I have joined them for Dinner on both occasions. They always look forward to coming down, just so they can book themselves in!
Ian & Karen make you feel extremely welcome from the moment you arrive, providing an attentive but discreet service throughout your stay. The B&B is full of character, with 3 wonderful en-suite rooms, a cosy living area and stunning conservatory dining area to admire the Somerset scenery from. Ian uses seasonal local ingredients in all of his food, you will never be disappointed his menu or his creative skill.
If you are looking for a romantic getaway, a special place to get together with family/friends or some peace & quiet then this the place for you. I would highly recommend Streamcombe Farm to anyone looking to enjoy some time in Dulverton Area of Exmoor and really be looked after.

Warm welcome back. Our second visit and again we were not disappointed. The rooms are tastefully decorated and warm, but what makes this a step up from your usual luxury B&Bs is the fabulous evening meals. Why travel else where in the evening after a day of exploring, when its all there! Just remember to take your own wine.

We booked two nights in this Ian and Karen's lovely B&B. The converted barn room we had gave lovely views across the valley where the sun rises. A big soft bed and clean, modern shower room.

Blissfully quiet and yet only a couple of minutes drive from Dulverton. There are three rooms so no more than 6 lucky people staying here at any time.
The breakfast was all locally sourced - much we suspect home grown. Freshly cooked and really done with care. The conservatory is a lovely place to eat and start the day off.

Ian the owner also runs cookery courses from a catering kitchen and training room across the courtyard - he clearly enjoys cooking.

We'd booked Dinner on the first night and did not regret it. We arrived at the conservatory to find a candlelit environment. As we were the only couple that night is made it feel so much more romantic! The food was wonderful, and again home cooked, the hosts entertaining and interesting and the room great. What more could you ask for? This is the hidden gem you must stay in when visiting Exmoor.

Room Tip: Ask for the upstairs front bedroom - it's got the view across the Valley.

My husband and I have just experienced a fantastic day learning how to bake bread at Streamcombe Farm. Ian was a brilliant teacher, he took us through step by step on each of the different breads that we made through out the day. You dont just make basic sour dough bread but also get to make and take home with you, foccacia, brioche, fruit loaf as well as making your own tortilla's for lunch!
The groups are kept to just 6 maximum so you get great hands on experience.

Thanks for a brilliant day!
