We spent one night at Streamcombe Farm as a birthday treat for my fiancée tagged onto 2 nights of camping for the half Ironman triathlon. What a beautiful setting for a B & B and so nice to have a night of luxury after having camped. We arrived a little early to the stated check in time, so whilst we waited for our room to be prepared, Karen the owner bought us some tea and cake and we sat outside in the peaceful garden. We chose to stay in the Hayloft room which is stunningly renovated, so peaceful. Breakfast cooked by Ian, the owner was the best we have ever had. On offer was a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit juices then the option of whatever you wanted cooked to order; pancakes, omelettes, porridge, full English and much to my delight smoothies made to order. We have never seen such yellow coloured eggs that tasted delicious on homemade bread. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning.
