We booked a Sunday dinner for three and enjoyed it thoroughly! The Hinam Farm has a very beautiful location as one drives up. The property is lovely, authentic with a picturesque countryside. Colorful hanging baskets frame the doorway and in total, made it a place I could have enjoyed staying at much longer than just our meal. A true farm, in the yard a little away from the house we were charmed by two donkeys, one curious the other shy. We found the dining room cosy at the same time very adequately private. We all had the beef, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes with gravy on the side in our own small pitcher. An array of vegetables were offered up with the meal, generous portion sizes so no one was going to walk away from the table hungry. Our dessert was magnificent, delicious and plentiful. Two of us had the Pavlova with blueberries and strawberries. It was a large portion of meringue with lots of heavy cream that spilled out from the center with berries sprinkled on top. The presentation was gorgeous. Another member of our party had the Creme Brulee with glazed bananas, which by reports was scrumptious!
Coffee to end it all... a marvelous Sunday afternoon meal.
Esther was attentive to all guests being the perfect hostess, very sweet without hovering. The perfect balance of wanting to make our meal the best experience ever.
