Set in a glorious peaceful location right beside the River Barle this B & B provides a wonderfrul base for exploring Exmoor. (or in my case visitng the Exmoor Pony Centre). Within a pleasant walking distance of Dulverton with its' pubs, restaurants and small shops it offers the best of both worlds. The Breakfast was excellent! It was preceded by a wonderful walk along by the river each morning which made it even more appreciated...The rooms are clean, comfortable, attractive and ensuite. . and the owners are friendly and helpful so I look forward to staying there again on my next visit.

Well this is a an inexpensive place to stay. Carole is an excellent host and her evening meals are very good value. Marsh Bridge Cottage is set in a beautiful place beside the river barle. You have plenty of walking of the door. Lovely place to relax and unwind.

This is our 2nd visit and certainly wont be our last. The B+B is situated next to the river Barle in a peaceful picturesque setting - what could be better!! The accommodation is beautifully clean, homely and welcoming. The food is excellent , and having the option of an evening meal is great. Carole and Jon are lovely hosts who help to make your stay very pleasant. If you like walking there couldn't be a better place to stay - there are lots of beautiful walks straight from the front door.

As always, a warm, friendly welcome. The rooms are all beautifully clean and well appointed, and nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent, so do stay for the evening meal - all fresh and home cooked to a very high standard.
Marsh Bridge is located on the river Barle, a short distance from Dulverton and close to Exmoor with wonderful walks and scenery. Ideal for a quiet retreat, walking holiday or centre for touring Exmoor at any time of the year.
This has not been our first visit - it is always a pleasure to re-visit - a real home-from home atmosphere- and comes highly recommended.

Like a home from home. My sister and I have stayed a couple of times when visiting our friend who moved to Dulverton after she got married. We have had the same room each time. Owners are really friendly (even took us to and picked us up from the local pub). Really excellent place to stay. I was brought up around a hotel and i must say this is one of the best i've ever visited.

Marsh Bridge Cottage ( Carol & Jon ) , brought me back to the days when a friendly smile, a warm timber fire ( real timber ), and an unfussed attitude, was all I needed to feel invited, safe, and comfortable. Immaculate rooms, superb home cooking, great walks from the front door. I was there for a very wet couple of days in December, and was very impressed. Go there in Summer, or Autumn ( Probably best ),. A friend of mine, years ago, used to say about someone he liked, " You wouldn't meet a nicer fella in a days walking ". You'll meet lots of nice fellas and girls walking around Dulverton. Marsh Bridge Cottage is a great base. Enjoy !!.
