Good food at a reasonable price, served by friendly staff. They did a very good steak, but the puddings are to die for!

Recommended by Sally and Merin Clothier during our stay at their Bed and Breakfast Croftlands. Beautiful traditional English pub, the decor is like stepping back in time. The locals eat and drink here a recommendation of the best sort !. The menu is extensive but everything is freshly cooked, served piping hot and delicious ! if you like your desserts ask for small portion of your main meal, or you will have to miss dessert! On return I shall be going back to eat pudding! as I missed out. Be prepared to wait for your meal as I said its fresh, not waiting for you under heated lamps. As a passionate cook its so refreashing to eat out and know the quality and freshness is second to none: 10 out of 10, value for money: Yes. and a great atmosphere! Hello to all at the Horse and Groom From Peter and Lesley. Oh and the cider is good too.
