Description: Archangel is well known for its magnificent 3 storey restaurant built into an old hay barn adjacent to the main house. The ancient walls are simply whitewashed and embrace a free-floating glass mezzanine cube that seats up to twelve people around a single table. Our chef always uses the best quality and locally sourced ingredients. Our seasonal menus are unpretentious and aim to serve every dining experience. We are open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Just had a very pleasing meal at Archangel - a real surprise as we had heard that the old pub had had a makeover but had no idea what it would be like. Brasserie style eating - just what Frome needs. We were blessed with sunshine in the courtyard on a Saturday lunchtime. The menus were imaginative and offered a good selection to cater for a wide range of tastes. The staff were attentive and friendly, and our meal was relaxed and unhurried. The building itself has been thoughtfully renovated giving a contemporary feel to a lovely old building. A word of warning - don't choose a starter if you are going to have the beer battered cod as a main - it's gargantuan!

This is a wonderful place to go. It is a newly reburbished coaching inn and has been done to a very high spec. I have had both lunch and breakfast there and was highly delighted. The food and service were excellent. I am going back to have dinner there this Saturday with a group of friends.
