Black Swan Arts is a former pub that has been converted to an art centre and gallery. The ground floor consists of a shop selling local crafts with a rather nice cafe (Divas) behind opening on to the rear courtyard in which are also situated four small workshops/studio's for local artists and craft workers to rent (when I visited recently a soft toy maker and a goldsmith were in two of the units). There is also the Round Tower (a listed building, if I remember correctly it was a fulling tower) which I believe is available for hire. Most of the first floor consists of a large gallery. I am not an artist so I cannot comment on the artistic merit of the exhibits or the items for sale in the shop other than to say that ,over the years, the exhibits have ranged from the beautiful to the incomprehensible. The gallery is staffed by volunteers so may not always be open. the staff are friendly and willing to help and there is no pressure to buy. Try it, I think you will like it, I know I do. They also have a website for further information.
