Great menu selection, great tasting food (although on the small side) and lovely service from the staff. The only thing was that the prices of the mains were a little too expensive but apart from that was a very charming night. Ps the Sticky Toffee Pudding was AMAZING!!

Went for a meal here, before going to a local theatre. Pub bar area was very busy, not so in the restaurant, as the bar was busy a group of people from the pub area came and sat in the restaurant talking very loudly, not having a meal, this should be restricted or put some sort of doors across, lighting in the restaurant is very POOR. Waitress were very friendly and efficient.
Food was tasty.

Sorry, but if you can't produce decent fish and chips, you need to go back to chef school. Three out of five of us chose this and the batter was soggy and pale yellow instead of crispy and golden brown. Needed longer in the frier or hotter fat. Generally felt the menu a bit limited. Nice enough place and friendly staff - don't want to knock them, but come on guys. You can do better.

We had brunch, together with a jazz session as part of the Frome Festival, and we were all impressed with the quality of the food. The scrambled eggs I am told were delicious, I just had the bacon on toast which was just right in texture with a marvelous taste. Plenty of good coffee and tea with the option of a plate of pastries. So glad we had some, they were absolutely delicious as was accompanying marmalade & jam. Shall be back to try other dining options.

We popped in here on Sunday for lunch. I follow them on facebook and often see their Sunday lunch offerings popping up! We decided to drop in and both had 3 courses. The service was very friendly and quick. We got drinks straight away and went into the restaurant area which was nice and quiet. It was about 1pm and there were a few tables with others on there but lunch is served until 3pm so you can make your way leisurely. As it is such a bargain to have 3 courses for £14 we decided on this. I had the goats cheese starter which is beautifully presented and very tasty. We both then had roast pork belly, served with vegetables, a Yorkshire pudding a few roast potatoes. The spuds were lovely and I would have liked a few more! I do like crackling and the fat on the pork was just rubbery but that's fine as it wasn't listed as crackling, it's just what I would have liked! We then both had chocolate brownie afterwards which was fresh and warm served with chocolate ice cream. We then had coffee and tea. The whole experience was flawless, the place is nice and it's the first time I've eaten in here for a few years. It's a nice pub, with quality and well presented food. The portions are the right size if you're having 3 courses, I would come back!
