A guest at Knoll Hill Farm enjoys the luxurious quiet, the clean country air, the accommodations of noble gentry and the atmosphere of an ideal home. It doesn't get better than that. Knoll Hill Farm is my favorite all-time B&B. I had room No. 1, which was enormous and looked out over a small courtyard and out onto a horse pasture. The staff here make a person feel so welcome, I can barely stand to refer to these warm, charming, exceptional people as "staff". The full English breakfast is the best I ever ate and I include a photograph because the quality and freshness of that meal was unbeatable. Also, and not least, there is a superbly, almost magically, talented Wellness Expert who is not to be missed at any cost. We have made this our proxy home in the area when we visit and it feels like home.

Room Tip: The King Room, or Room No. 1, was huge, quiet and lovely with king-sized bed, a superbly appointed e...

Slightly nervous about booking a B&B as our last experience in Wales last Easter was appalling. There was no need however- TPTS is fab, great location ( nr Longleat), warm and v comfortable room ( family room 1- just great), lovely breakfast. Highly recommended- wish I had time for a treatment from the onsite therapist.

My sister, mother and I have had a recent visit to Knoll Hill Farm - Wow, what an amazing place to stay. We were in rooms 2 and 3 which was just lovely! It was very cosy and private and Sam was extremely helpful. A wonderful view, afternoon tea and breakfast! We were really spoilt!
We also had a visit to The Bohdi Tree where we were relaxed by Sarah with a Hot Stone massage (very much recommended)!
I have just booked to go back with my husband and children for a 3 night stay as we want to visit Longleat and Bath. Don't change a thing - we enjoyed everything as it was. Thank you Sam and the team! :-)

We have just arrived home from a lovely one night stay here. I booked it as a surprise for my partners birthday as we were going to Longleat. It was lovely and quiet, with a nice local pub close by which we dined in for dinner. We were in room 2 which was perfect for us. 1 tiny tiny niggle is that it was very warm in there, even after turning off the radiator and opening the small window, but this has not put us off returning.
I would just like to say a thank you to Sam who clearly works very hard to run the place, keep up the good work!
The breakfast was delicious, all cooked to order and perfection, with plenty of choice!
It was a lovely peaceful stay, and even after travelling 168 miles to get there, we will return in the future!

We had a wonderful 2 night break. Sam was very welcoming, gave us helpful tips for places to visit and makes the most delicious breakfast.
The room was clean and tidy. Loved my bath and shower. Bed was far too comfortable (!), could not wake up the old man for love nor money.
Thanks Sam. Hope to see you soon.

We have just returned home (sadly) from a 2 night stay at The place to stay. We had a lovely 2 days and would highly recommend staying here to anyone and everyone. The room was perfect as was the en-suite with a fabulous roll-top bath and walk in shower. As for breakfast-best full English we've ever had!!! Sam was very welcoming and friendly which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We will most definitely be returning! An added bonus of our stay was the fabulous massage by Sarah the resident therapist she was excellent and very friendly and professional-one of the best massages I've ever had!! Can also highly recommend the local pub-great atmosphere, excellent food and very friendly staff. Thanks for making our break so enjoyable!

Just had the most amazing (Decleor) facial courtesy of Sarah at The Bodhi Tree, The Place To Stay's personal spa.
Knoll Hill Farm (The Place To Stay) is a wonderful location and Sarah is one of the best therapists I've come across.
