“Exceptional”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

The cleanest hotel with the most exceptional staff I have ever stayed in. The restaurant is also exceptional with a special mention for Kyle and Beth. Well done to you all. I will be back without question.

Arrived after a long drive down from Manchester en route to Longleat Safari Park, room was good, clean and staff were very helpful. (arrived mid summer, roasting, no aircon but you dont get them in Premier Inn's, but staff went out of their way to get extra fan for the room).

Evening meal was terrible, waited 40 minutes for our starter after receiving the wrong one twice, main meal arrived and was full of gristle (steak and ale pie).

Breakfast though was spot on.

Would stay here again, but not eat the evening meal at the restaurant.

Frome Premier Inn really great. Quiet, modern, clean, super breakfast. staff very friendly and attentive. Very close to Bath, Longleat and Lacock village (NT - where they filmed Cranford and some Harry Potter!) well worth visiting. Excellent value for money as able to have 4 people in one room and free breakfast for the children.

Stayed on Sunday....Rooms nice fresh and clean but let down by restaurant bar area....too cramped no good for large groups (which we were! About 12 of us.) On the evening we stayed no steak on the menu!!!!! In the morning no hash browns. Don't bother with the meal deal!!!

Room and bathroom was very clean. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking spaces available.

Main gripe. The curtains was to short and let the outside light in during the whole night There was also a cold draft from under the door!

Other than the above, every thing else was fine.

Booked family room, double room and twin, turns out the family room is only a double with bed settee and a mattress on the floor squeezed in between. Not very impressed couldn't swing a cat. Ordered a chicken and bacon club, now this is usually toasted bread with slices of chicken, no try two chunks of fatty tasting chicken in slices of ordinary bread. Won't be going back!!!

Quiet location and easy to find. Room and continental breakfast fine, except that there is only one chair (and hard at that) in a room for 2 adults and a child - as in other PIs. What is the alternative if you don't want to sit in the bar/restaurant all evening?
