We had a lovely, very filling meal at the Mill yesterday evening. My partner had the goats cheese to start, which did look a little odd being breaded fingers of cheese but he assured me it was very tasty and I had the pate which was good.
The main courses were superb! The pork belly I had was cooked to perfection with really crispy crackling and accompanied by a very tasty cider sauce and bubble and squeak. I could have happily eaten the meal all over again except I was stuffed. My partner's burger was huge and fab. Cooked beautifully and very well presented. We couldn't have desserts because we were so full.
Drinks were fine, normal pub prices, and the staff were all very friendly and smiley, and we didn't have to wait too long for our menus or the food.
All in all a very good dinner in a pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The only thing I would possibly change is the lighting as the spot lights seemed to be a little too bright and harsh but that didn't detract from our meal.
